Pros: It definitely gets rid of oil, and every last bit of moisture along with it!
Cons: Extremely drying to my face.

Maybe my skin is a bit more sensitive than most but this cleanser chapped my face! I have the typical combination skin where I am oily and acne prone in the "T" zone. After washing my face 2 times with this, I awoke with a itchy, burning feeling on my face. When I looked in the mirror, I discovered my "T" zone was now an itchy red chapped zone. It took days and lots and lots of moisturizers to get my skin back to normal.
I wouldn't recommend this product.

This stuff is great. I am a 19 year old female, so I'm obviously not right in the age range to have horrible acne, but around the times when my hormones are at their worst, acne is more prone to show up.


I bought this product because I noticed that it had a pretty good amount of salicylic acid (2%) and I know that that is proven to get rid of or reduce acne. I use this product once a day, right before going to bed, to cleanse of make-up, and just basically dirt that accumulates throughout the day. I never write reviews for products, so just the fact that I hopped online to write this says something. You definitely can't go wrong with this product.

Again, I have a pretty good complexion, but this product totally rid my face of acne, and it made my face feel tight and fresh, with no residue.

The smell is the only SMALL downer. It smells a bit like alcohol - but that just makes me like it that much more because I know it's working!

Pros: cheap - only $4.29 for a good size bottle
Cons: too much alcohol - face turns flaky after two uses.

My co-worker is an Avon sale representative and she told me to give this cleaner a try. After my first wash, my face hurts. After two days, it turns flaky. I recalled putting on lots of moisturizer before my face turns back to normal. I have combination skin and oily in the T zone area. People who have sensitive skin should avoid this product. I don't want their face to peel like I did. I ended up returning the cleanser to my co worker even though I got it for free.

THis product is light and doesnt bleach like some products that contain benzoyl peroxide.

Cons: Over dried my face, left my skin chapped and bumpy, painful!

I used the Avon invigorating scrub and loved it so I thought the daily cleanser might be worth a shot too. After just 3 uses it left my face chapped and I had a burning sensation all day! I only used it once each day, and only in small amounts and it still dried the heck out of my face.

I won't be using this again.

Still love the scrub, though.
