Cons: You still have to use a sleeved bib underneath for full protection.

When people stop at our table when we are eating out at a restaurant, we know it is either to comment on how cute our daughter is or to ask us where we got the scoop bib! They usually comment that they should make it in adult sizes as well.

Pros: Just toss in the dishwasher to clean! Catches everything including liquids.
Cons: May be awkward for shorter kids or with highchairs that have higher trays.

It catches *everything*, and its so easy to clean! I wish I would have had this bib for our first daughter, but we never came across it until #2. Now, I don't use anything else, and I will never have to buy another - these things are sturdy, and will outlast all our kids, present and future, I've no doubt.

Pros: EASY clean up. GREAT for travel and restaurants.
Cons: Hard to use when tray attached to high chair. Some will undo the clasp/remove easily.

Lost this bib in my kitchen mess for about two days and went around to try to replace it in a panic. Did not know much I liked it until then!

The only thing I have to add to the other reviews is that it was remarkable for feeding my son when he had the flu in those first few days back on solids and I didn't know if he would vomit. When he did, it went straight into the bib and I just spilled it out into the sink. Wonderful!

Also, I just start my new "solid feeders" by putting the food directly into the bib and they can self feed very early. If they drop it in the pouch, they pick it up and start over when they are getting the hang of the pincers grip. Less wasted food.

Cons: only good for older babies

This bib is great for older, messy eaters especially in a restaurant or at a friend's house. This bib is not good for small babies, in fact it was not appropriate for my daughter until she was nearing one. Small children and babies tend to be irritated by the hard material of the bib and it seems to be uncomfortable. It is excellent for the older child who is tall enough that the highchair tray does not cause it to shove into the baby's chin and neck. It catches a lot of the food that would otherwise get on the child's lap and the floor when wearing a normal bib.
