Pros: FANTASTIC, GREAT, SUPERB Cons: NONE, MONEY WELL SPENT
I purchased these speakers because I knew I didn't win the bid on an Ebay Pioneer auction and I read and heard that these speakers were supposed to rival Cerwin Vega LS 12's. Unfortunately, I won the Ebay auction, the Pioneer 452's, but I did receive ...

Pros: PRICE--PERFORMANCE--BUILD QUALITY Cons: MAYBE DISCONTINUED
OK,TO START I FOUND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND REVIEWS ON THESE SPEAKERS. I HAVE READ RAVE REVIEWS ON OTHER BIC SPEAKERS AND THAT IS WHAT I ENDED UP RELYING ON WHEN I PURCHASED THE 1530'S. I PERSONALLY LIKE BIGGER DRIVERS. HAVING OWNED ...

can't be beat for the money!!!!
by iknowuknow ,Dec 20 '09
Pros: low cost-good lookin-sound good Cons: really wide cabnets
let me say first off I've read a couple bad reviews on these which almost made me go with a much more expensive famous name brand. THANK GOD I DIDN'T LISTEN!!!. these speakers are GREAT for the price u pay . at mid to high volume the bass is tight and deep. I've heard speakers play the the real low bass notes with a little more authority, but these play them very well. these sound as good as the competitor's towers at more than half the price.
now as far as someone saying these speakers will fry your receiver because the woofers are 6ohms LOL!!!!!. THE WOOFERS ARE 6OHMSSO THEY DRAW MORE POWER FROM THE AMPLIFER THAN THE MIDS AND TWEETS DO!!! the total overall impedance is still around 8ohms. so your amp will be fine.

bic rtr-1530 loudspeakers
by marantzman ,Apr 28 '04
Pros: mdf(medium density fiberboard) cabinets. Cons:
harsh mids, peircing highs,no bass!!!
no crossover.
i recently purchsed a pair of bic rtr-1530 loudspeakers.
You get what you pay for!!!
they have no bass, harsh mids and peircing highs!
crossover , what crossover?????
the speakers are 8 ohms ,
but i was curious and took a peek inside,
6 ohm woofers , 8 ohm mids and tweeters.
try them if you want to burn up your amp!!!
i have a pair of jvc sp-7700 with jbl l-36 crossovers,
and they sound hella better than the bic's.
they sound like crap , are built like crap.
the one and only thing i like is the cabinets.
the cabinets are made of 3/4" mdf(medium density fiberboard)
dont waste your money!!!
i paid $50 for my two jvc's at a pwan shop,
and they sound better.
