Pros: Works great on flat floors. Cons: To hard to use on stairs.
If you are looking for a floor carpet scrubber and not one that will do stairs, then this will work for you. You can find this at K-Mart for right around one hundred dollars. Bissell Pro-Heat turbo deep cleaner will affectively clean your flooring needs. ...
Pros: Basically effective. Cons: Heavy. Hard to manuever. Expensive solutions.
My husband Bill and I recently moved into beautiful home that happens to have nasty carpets. Ordinarily, I wouldn't have wanted to live in a house with a lot of carpeting, but this house had other things going for it that made us decide to put up with ...
Pros: easy to set up, looks nice, stores well Cons: loud, heavy, doesn't work, brush breaks, doesn't heat up
I was excited to finally buy a new steam cleaner. I was using an old one that my mother had given me prior to buying the Bissell Pro-Heat Turbo. As soon as we got home I got it all set up and ready to go. That was the easy part. I will admit the set up ...
Pros: The cleaning liquid smelled really nice and wasn't overpowering like some. Cons: Machine was difficult to use, doesnt heat, and doesnt pick up water.
I have always used Bissell vacums and shampooers. I have never found an appliance made by Bissell ...until the Proheat2x, that I didn't love. This is the most unthought product I have ever bought. First the water tank on this machine is ...
Pros: Solution smells great, does a fantastic job cleaning. Cons: Overall, it's just poorly-designed.
You can't always just go with the most-trusted name, I guess. This cleaner worked very well at first, but has developed some problems over the last year and a half- and the warranty only covers it for a year. First, the water bladder is really small. ...
Pros: Does a good job cleaning. Gets the dirt out Cons: Cheap plastic parts that won't hold up to heavy use
I bought my Bissell ProHeat Upright Deep Cleaner thinking I would use it for the occasional rug or upholstery that gets dirty around the house. The product works just as advertised....for the first few months. Then things start breaking ...
Pros: It does a good job, the waste water demonstrates dirt has been picked up. Cons: It does not handle dog hair well. It is too heavy.
My old Bissell gave up the ghost, so I bought the new model--with all the new features. The upper body is so heavy I can only do half a room a day. My shoulders and arms become very sore.
Pros: None. Cons: Does not pickup water. Poor product design.
I purchased this product to replace a Hoover steamvac. Too my dismay I had to have a new belt put on after the first time I used it. Debris collects on the bottom of the tank and goes inside the unit ruining the belt. They should have a screen there. It does not pick up water well and dirty water runs out onto the surface you just cleaned. Carpet looks good until it dries, then looks dirtier. I am very dissatisfied with this steam cleaner. Very poor product design. I expected more from bissell. Save your money. I just threw mine away.
Pros: Looks great, Brand Name, has the attachments you could need. Cons: Just doesn't do the job...Disappointing performance
I thought I was fortunate to get this floor cleaner at a auction as a "Open Box" return for only $31+ tax; It looks beautiful, sturdy, and I thought; the perfect machine for the job! But, the job it does is disappointing at best. Granted living on the beach in Baja is great, but it is a sandy, dusty environment... And this machine despite its look is NOT up to the cleaning job. The small tanks were my biggest problem, and though it has a impressive array of brushes they don't do the job either; (considering Bissell reputation?) I have to give this one a thumbs down... And, I sure am glad I did not pay the retail price... This one goes in my next garage sale!
doesn't work, only used twice by woggybutt ,Aug 02 '09
Pros: The unit looks nice, heat, nice size. Easy to use in my appartment. Cons: Water doesn't come out of jets in floor mode. faulty trigger design.
After two uses the water quite coming out of the jets in "floor" mode. Faulty linkage from the trigger. Not what i expected from a name brand. I had purchased the Bissell Pro Heat Turbo for my appartment because of its size, attachments, heating option and it cought my eye at the store compared to the other models. And why not, it is a Bissell.
Bissell proheat deep cleaners=JUNK by blondie1277 ,Nov 14 '09
Pros: There no none. Cons: As described above.
I have had three Bissell Pro Heat deep cleaners and 1 Pro Heat 2X in the past five years and all of them are pure junk. They don't heat water right, they don't suck water, or put out enough water. They use way too much solution and the plastic pieces underneath keep breaking due to overheating. I will NEVER buy another Bissell shampooer.
