The do it your Selfer!
by eagledad1963 ,Jun 30 '04
Pros: Has own carrying bag,and great for doing work in tight places. Cons: For bigger sawing jobs, the saw is to small.
After I moved to Washington, my girlfriend told me that she would like to do some home repairs. "That's OK," I told her, but we need to buy some tools that I don't have. So we went to our local Wal-Mart and bought this kit. It is OK for doing small jobs when using the saw, but if you have bigger projects you will need to use the bigger saws. Don't think that this is not a good kit,it is great for the first time buyer, and it will get you started.

Interesting Xmas gift
by slowzuki ,Oct 24 '05
Pros: Handy for quick cord free use
Clutch on drill
quickchange jigsaw Cons: Batteries are 80$ ea Canadian to replace
Long charge times, no 1 hr charger afaik
Very new to me, all the tools attach and detach fine. Comes with 2 batteries, charger, drill, jigsaw, circular saw, sander and router attachment.
Batteries take 9 hours to initially charge, 6 after that. Little dissapointing after owning a Makita with 1 hr charge packs.
Drill is very good as a driver, geared reduction in attachment and adjustable clutch gives excellent control.
