Was swayed by the price and the Bose reputation. I've been using cheap Altec Lansing speakers for years. When I plugged in these, it was like a glaucoma patient after an operation who can suddenly see. Now I can suddenly hear. I'm amazed at the performance of these small profile speakers at such a reasonable price.

Pros: No hissing

I was a fan of Bose speakers already. These are nice computer speakers. My old speakers hissed and made a static sound when I turned the volume knob so I decided to upgrade. Like all Bose speakers, these don't have a "thump" that some people may be looking for.
