Pros: Nice packaging and tube Cons: Gray cream, not effective, not thick enough
This product came to us in a gift basket of baby stuff collected by my work. I thought it amusing at first when I saw it - after all, it is called Butt Paste. I remembered recently reading reviews on the product and so I was a bit curious about ...
Pros: Thick, effective, won't burn a sore bum. You get to say "butt cream" a lot. Cons: Very expensive (but worth it)
Back in the early 70s when I was a baby, there were two diapering choices: lousy cloth ones, or lousy disposables. Either way, once a baby peed, her skin had no protection from ammonia and wetness except a thick, waxy, fishy-odored layer of A&D Ointment ...
Pros: It works! Easy, mess free application and pleasant scent Cons: Need for this product requires that a rash or irritation exist.
This stuff really seems to work - and fast! Fortunately for me though, I wasn't the one that had to go to the pharmacist and ask for Boudreaux's Butt Paste - my Mom purchased it. Why in the world did we even think of purchasing a product called ...
Pros: Worked like a charm against a heinous diaper rash; easy to apply and remove. Cons: The "pleasant smell" isn't that great. It is a little embarrassing to ask for.
When I saw Butt Paste touted as a miracle remedy on Oprah one afternoon, I thought it was a little silly how Oprah seemed to get such a kick out of saying butt paste over and over. Fast forward a week and I was on the phone to ...
Pros: Works effectively and immediately Cons: Slight pricy but I wouldn't trade it
I first discovered this product when my preemie daughter (now 2)was rushed to the ER with a fever at 19 days old. After arriving there and numerous tests were performed, we found out that the reason for her infection was in fact nothing more than ...
Pros: thick, long lasting, works Cons: some may find it pricey
My son has the most sensitive rear that I have ever heard of! He can only wear Pampers diapers, and use pampers wipes, every other brand makes him break out in a horrible rash! As does any bowel movement that is not completely solid. His rashes get so ...
Pros: Smells nice, doesn't have that diaper rash cream smell. Cons: Doesn't work in my experience, goes on unevenly.
How can anyone resist buying a tube of Butt Paste? Seriously, say it with me now... BUTT PASTE. I love buying products, and in particular I love buying products for my 3 kids, because then I can justify spending a fortune on stuff we don't need (see my ...
Pros: Truly versatile and works on almost everything! Cons: Not taking on-line orders due to Hurricane Katrina
It was part of a game at my baby shower...."how much for the Butt Paste!" We all had a good chuckle at the name and the items got socked away into a basket along with my other gifts. Months later when our new little angel had his first diaper ...
My 3 week old had the most horrible bleeding dipper rash, I used the doctor recommended Desitin two days straight on every dipper change and let me tell you that is a lot of applications and had little or no results. A nurse from the hospital ...
I received two tubes of Boudreaux's Butt Paste at my baby shower. I usually use Desitin or AD&D on my babies, so I was interested to try something new (and hopefully less expensive!) out. Overall, I was very disappointed. The product not only does not do ...
Pros: Applies easily and evenly, smells good Cons: I don't even know
The first time I've seen Boudreaux's Butt Paste when my husband and I went to buy some stuff for our future son.We laughed a little bit about it's name but I hesitated to buy it because it was our first baby, and I wanted to buy the best product for him. ...
Pros: Coats skin well, maybe a little too well. Cons: Doesn't work to relieve diaper rash and is hard to remove from skin.
I was new to diaper rash cream when I tried Butt Paste. This is my first child. I immediately didn't like it. Each diaper change after previously using it, I couldn't get this stuff off. I like to clean my diaper and reapply new diaper rash cream ...
Pros: Soft, not messy, and clean sent Cons: was somewhat hard to find but I know where to get it now at Wal-mart
I tried everything from Johnson & Johnson, to A&D. You name it, nothing was helping just making it worse for my son (17 months). Finally I asked a lady at Wal-mart what I could do and she recommended Boudreaux's Butt Paste. I bought it and within 2 to 3 diaper changes the redness was gone the pain was gone. IT'S GREAT. Thanks for a wonderful product.
Pros: Fab smell Cons: Hard to find, didn't work on diaper rash
I was excited when I finally found Butt Paste on drugstore.com. I heard it worked miracles. Unfortunately,it has not been my experience. Although the smell was much more tolerable, it just didn't seem to clear up the diaper rash on my daughter. I ended up returning to the stinky Balmex that always does the trick.
Pros: Works great on all skin not just for babies. Cons: sometimes hard to locate
Boudreaux's Butt Paste is not just for babies! The stuff is awesome. It works on all dry skin especially dry elbows and knees and feet. I use it all over on my skin to keep it from drying out in the colder months. If you have cracked lips or chapped lips this is the stuff you need to use. I use it on my animals also if they get a rash or a sore spot I get the Boudreaux's out and apply some. I have used it for so many things. I used it on burns and on my sunburns too and it works so well. I now keep it in my bathroom drawer and I always keep the little tube in my purse. It smells good too. For those that get bikini wax rashes try the Boudreaux's for fast relief.
