Pros: Easy to use and clean
Brilliantly thought out design and controls
Very fast and convenient Cons: Espresso could be hotter
You have to buy Nespresso cartridges
Not for the fanatical Barista
I am a big espresso and capuccino addict. I mean big. I generally make 4-6 double capuccinos and maybe an espresso or two each day. I have owned over a dozen consumer grade machines. The old Krups machine used to last for 1 1/2 - 2 years of daily ...

Pros: Stylish, compact, easy to use and clean, very good coffee. Cons: Not quite big or hot enough, minor inconvenience of having to order pods, coffee snobs.

Wonderful.

Pros: Espresso. At the push of a button. Every day! What's not to like? Cons: The cup racks do not fit "lungo" sized glasses.
I agree with the two previous reviewers. This is machine is easy to use, easy to clean, small enough not to bogart prime counter space, and consistently delivers the caffeine some of us critically need to avoid walking into the wall and falling down the stairs on the way to work.
It is a luxury item, not a cost-saver, but makes a wonderful gift, and purchasing capsules IS cheaper by far than buying by the cup from your local corporate cafe.
The espressos are wonderful, with a potency range from wicked strong to mild at heart. Forgo the expensive Nespresso glasses, the design on this machine will accommodate most teacups and (barely) standard-sized coffee mugs.
The "lower-end" Nespresso models work equally well (especially given the price difference - save yourself a buck or two!) but this one is perhaps more convenient for everyday use.
