Pros: When it runs, the unit cleans well. Cons: Quality and Customer Service. Big Problems!!
I've had 3 of the 1580s in the last 12 months. The first one broke the first time I used it (water dumped out from inside the unit). The 2nd one ran less than a dozen times before it did the same thing. The third one (a refurb supplied by CH Power as a replacement for the second unit) was broken out of the box (case was cracked where the wheel attached). I begged CH Power to let me pay the difference to upgrade to a better unit (wouldn't allow it). I'm sending unit #3 back for another refurb. By the time I get a working unit, my original warranty will be expired and I will have no recourse.
I have a brick house. I bought the unit to clean the house trim, the drive, and patios. Needless to say, the pressure washer is not used excessively. The quality of this product has been a joke. The customer service is about on the same level.
