Pros: Above average photo quality, multiple direct print options Cons: Below average speed, does not use separate ink cartridges, no LCD screen
Introduction The PIXMA iP6210D is Canon's recent entry into the already crowded budget inkjet photo printer market, and at $100 MSRP is priced similarly to competitors offerings. With the right type of photo paper, the company's PIXMA line of ...

Pros: Great print quality, low price, built-in memory card slots Cons: Uses 3-color ink cartridges, print speed not phenomenal
We’ve all bought these budget printers before. You know the ones I mean. The printer with bundled cartridges costs less than the ink cartridges alone, so you just keep on buying printers instead of replacing the ink. Lexmark is notorious for making ...

Pros: Simple design, easy to use, customer support Cons: Both cartridges needed even if you're not printing photos.
Like the other Canon printers I've had in the past, this printer has been a reliable worker. For such an inexpensive printer, the print quality is good. I don't use it for photo printing, but it does just fine with documents. One thing to note is ...

Perfect choice for small budgets
by oregonguy ,Apr 16 '06
Pros: Inexpensive but has Canon quality Cons: Few, if any.
I replaced an abysmal Lexmark 5150 all-in-one for this inexpensive photo printer. The differences are too great to list. I paid a "premium" price of $100 for this Canon and after dozens of photos and a few hundred text print-outs, finally had to replace the ink cartridges at about $60, compared to $90 for the Lexmark, which used ink like Dracula on a bender. This little Canon is a great printer for the budget minded. It is not perfect at photo reproductions, but still does a commendable job if all you want is a picture to show off or to frame for your den. It takes a while to warm up, but that is the only "con" I can think of. All in all, a good value.

Cheap and great results
by yummayumma ,Aug 06 '06
Pros: Small, cheap and sounded like a quiter printer Cons: Installation was a little issue. Haven't used much to see the cons.
I bought it at Fry's (08/06/06) for $19.99 after $50.00 mail in rebate (30+20). There were some issues during install but, overall everything went fine.
Printed on photo 4X6 and it came out great and in about 5-7 seconds after it did some initialiazation for about 10 secs during which time I was wondering whats happening.
So, anyway, I think I'll be back after I have used it for a while.
