Pros: Cheap, IS, 8 megapixels, 4X optical zoom, and uses available anywhere AA batteries
Cons: Redeye, some corner softness and minor chromatic aberration (purple fringing), slow flash re-charge
At the end of the 19th century most photographers still captured images with large, unwieldy glass plates loaded into very slow tripod mounted view cameras, but the introduction in 1888 of the boxy little Kodak "Brownie" roll film camera changed all ...
Pros: Excellent Image Quality, Battery Life, DIGIC III Image Processor, Face Detection, AA Batteries Cons: Flash Recharge Time Could Be Improved
Introduction
Let
me start by providing some background on my experience with digital cameras. I bought my first 1.3 Megapixel digicam back in 1999 for $219.99 when digital cameras were just starting to gain popularity in the marketplace. ...
Pros: great image quality, excellent color rendition, easy to use, uses AA batteries Cons: choppy fps in video mode, low resolution screen, no panorama assist
I own several cameras (digital and film) and this is by far the most fun of all to use. The reason is quite simple; it's a small camera that is easy to use, and takes great pictures. It allows me to concentrate on taking pictures instead of worrying ...
Pros: Good photo quality, standard and cheap AA NiMh batteries, memory cards and USB cable. Cons: Noise at IS0 400 and above. No bag or usable memory card in the box
- PremiseThe A590is the latest addition of the A5x0 series: A550, A560, A570is, A580. All these cameras have similar characteristics. Before starting with some detailed explanation of the technical features I would like to present a sort ...
Pros: Versatile unit with lots of bells and whistles for the price Cons: Bulky, flash recycle times a bit long
I upgraded to this camera from the Canon A95 that I bought several years ago. What a difference 2-3 years makes with digital cameras! This is an 8 megapixel unit with a 4x optical zoom. The digital zoom can take you up to 16x, but I generally disable ...
Pros: Tons of settings, great pics, videos, large LCD monitor Cons: Some settings for advanced users
I purchased this camera about a month ago when my other digital camera (reviewed in my Epinions page) finally gave up the ghost. After reading reviews of cameras on Amazon.com, this particular camera stuck out for the features it had, with a reasonable ...
Pros: Inexpensive, Nice shape & size, Lots of features, Quick Cons: Tripod mount, slow flash recycle, red eye, Lens conversion ring
I've never been disappointed with Canon cameras. Though this is my first, my friends have long been fans and since my Fujifilm conked out on me- I figured "Why not?" Once my old camera died I was sure that a Canon would be the only option. I ...
Pros: AA batteries, long battery life, many useful settings and options. Cons: Long camera lag, especially with flash.
This is a great camera. It fits well in the hand and has a lot of wonderful features. My first shots were taken of flowers in Florida using different settings to experiment with them and took professional level photos. It is easy to use ...
Pros: easy to use, night shot, large display window Cons: uses AA batteries, upgrade to rechargeable batteries
I personal think this camera is great, especially for a beginner in digital photography. It takes great pictures with a lot of different settings. The night shot is terrific. it turns out crystal clear even in the dark. The only down side to that is you ...
Pros: manual features, image stabilizer, face detection, motion sensor Cons: the flash recycle time is a little bit on the slow side

Pros: Easy to use out of the box Cons: Slow flash recharge, expensive to repair
Purchase: We purchased this camera online after carefully considering several others. Got an exceptional deal (under $150) including shipping and an extra 2GB memory card. Not bad for such a great little camera. What I like: 1. Right out of the ...
Pros: Aperature/shutter/manual/program modes. Low price. Good quality in strong light or flash at 8MP. Cons: Low light performance is poor quality. High ISO is unusable.
Good quality images for a low price. A little bulkier than the ultra-slim types, but you get both a cost and quality advantage. Takes normal AA batteries which is great. The flash works well but takes a few extra seconds to cycle. Not as bad as it could be, but noticable.
The only real downside is the low light performance. The high ISO images are terrible. If you really need a low light camera, then this is not the one. If you just need a normal snapshot camera for average daily use, then this is a great choice.
Pros: Has over 15 shooting modes, great resolution. clarity after 10x zoom! Produces macro pictures! Cons: No B&W mode, slow flash recycle, Doesn't have sepia mode as well. No internal memory.
Fun camera with over 15 shooting modes, has a great resolution and is fairly priced. Great price for what you are getting. It has a great macro function, image stabilizer. You can take pictures with the 10x zoom and the picture is still completely clear! Love how it has night snapshot and night scene, so you can decide whether you want all the crazy lights in the background, or a clear image. The macro is AMAZING and gets GREAT quality up close pictures! Great resolution, can take such clear pictures of water with the aquarium function, great colorful pictures with the beach function and cool action shots with the kids & pets function. Great deal for the price it is offered at!
My friend is havinng this camera .I have used this first it took a short time to understand its operation once when you use it ,you will be amazed by its performance. It has a larger LCD display ,colours of the photo you take is very good.It light weight and easy to use it.
