Pros: Low cost, easy to use Cons: No comprehensive printed manual - requires user to look up info on included CD ROM.
I admit it, when it comes to technology, I am not a whiz kid. I'm an old, retired guy and I feel lucky just be able to understand the concept of much of today's technology. When anything goes wrong with my PC, I call my personal tech support person -...
Pros: Price, 4MB, Compact, PC/Outlook Sync, Ease of Use Cons: No Internet or USB
While the Casio PV-400Plus is classified as an "Organizer", I would have to classify it as a "Trimmed Down PDA". It is very feature packed for the price and simple to use.
I am not a PDA type of person but I did need something to keep...
Pros: price, lightweight, easy menu, simple to use, EASY PC-LINK, provides good amount of stuff Cons: back-light stays on for only 15 seconds, although lightweight it is a flimsy cover
I have been using the 400-plus for a year now and it is quite useful and for the price I paid of $85, you can't go wrong...I was planning on buying one of those $250 palm devices but rather than spend that amount of money for a PDA I was unsure I was...
Pros: Flash Memory (8Mb), Easy to use, Very Economical, Jog Dial, Synchronizes with Outlook Cons: Not Color, No Internet, No Add-Ons, No Downloads, No EXPENSIVE Features
The Casio Pocket Viewer is by far the best PDA for the money. I bought mine for $99.00 from Wal-Mart. The only problem with it is that I lost the Stylus, but that was my fault. Other than that, if you aren't out for all the frills of an Expensive PDA,...
Pros: inexpensive, light wieght, back lit, easy to use Cons: back light lasts for 8 seconds, can't download games
The casio pocket viewer 400 plus is an easy accesible pda. It has 4mb of memory, a back lighting option, lots of space for phone numbers, memos, expences, and quick memo.
It has a great quick memo function which lets you use the stylus to...
Pros: Light, convenient, comes with protective case. Easy to use. Inexpensive. Cons: Had to purchase a separate USB cable to connect dock to my computer. Limited add-ons.
I have owned my Casio Pocket Viewer PV-S400Plus for over six months now. I am not an organized perso ...
Pros: Low price, long battery life Cons: Spreadsheet update has bugs
All features of the S400Plus worked as expected except for the update of Excel spread sheet files. When the spreadsheet files from the computer are sent back to the S400Plus, spreadsheet cell attributes change. This problem has been verified by Casio...
Pros: Inexpensive compared to other brands Cons: It does not stand on it's own.
I was not sure if I would really use a hand held organizer so I bought the cheapest one I could find with a fair amount of memory. Boy was I surprised to find out how much I use it!!! I love it. It has my schedule between now and the next 5 years...
Pros: Easy to use, lets you add more programs to it Cons: No color screen, no Wi-Fi
If you want a fancy PDA with a color screen and Wi-Fi internet, this is not for you. However, if you want an inexpensive PDA and PIM, this is a great buy. One of the best things about this PDA is that you can write your own programs for it or get a program for it from http://www.pocketviewer.de. Pocketviewer.de has hundreds for apps to load onto your PDA, including Ebook readers, games, databases and more.
works for me and schedules my daily life. by easyuser ,Nov 28 '05
Pros: the sync is superb. I can keep a backup with easy buttoning. Cons: the backlight is not always functioning. sometimes it flickers a lot
all jobs entered in the schedulers keep me reminding . I do not miss any appointments. The Contact proforma is very detailed. Nice friend in the pocket.
I gave my 24 year old son one on Christmas morning. By 5:00 that afternoon the screen cracked while he carried it in his pocket. He was so excited about using it as a student and while training on the job as a police officer. Now he finds it is not covered by the warranty and the store it came from said it was his problem. We are disappointed that the screen was so delicate and we were not warned that it could be a problem breaking. His father and I were both considering buying one for our own use but are now reluctant until we find out the cost of repairing it or replacing it.
