The Compaq A4000 printer/scanner/fax machine does not work with Windows XP. When the computer goes into the sleep mode, the printer never wakes up. You need to reboot the computer to get the printer to work. Compaq tech support is totally ignorant...
Pros: Everything works as it should, good general purpose machine Cons: None - big footprint if that matters to you
The A4000 is actually pretty amazing for the price. The included OCR program works wonderfully - just remember to use the "send to word" function after recognizing so that the document will appear formatted the same as the original.
