Pros: curling iron and hot air brush in one styling aid, dual voltage, swivel cord Cons: it doesn’t come with a hairdresser
For years I relied on Conair to style my hair. I’m not one to spend time architecting my tresses into time-consuming styles. I want to wash my hair and dry/style it as quickly as possible. The Conair 1 1/2" Hot Air Curling Combo is my ...

Pros: durable, reduces styling to one step Cons: none
I actually happened upon this product in the Epinions database on a whim; I wanted to see if Conair was still making anything like it, as mine is now on its last legs. Imagine my surprise to see that it's still on the market in the same configuration as ...

I've had mine for 5 years
by bombensington ,Dec 24 '03
Pros: Reliable, even heating, great results Cons: Some screws came loose after lots of use, though easy to fix.
As the title says, I've had mine for 5 years. I use it every day, and it has always given me great results.
The only problem I have is that the 2 screws that hold the brush barrel onto the base came loose after about a year. I screwed them back in, but now they are getting stripped. However, I am not surprised that this happened after 5 years of constant use.
In fact, I'm surprised it has lasted this long! It has shown no other signs of slowing down!

Best Hair Tool around, period.
by Fashionista ,Oct 21 '04
Pros: Brush is great for straightening/smoothing hair. Curling tool is good for fatter curls and loops. Cons: Hard to reach the back spots of the hair. Heat setting not very high.
Like the others, I've had my curling tool combo set for at least 10 years and still get many compliments on my hair. Fantastic heat/cool venting system which locks in curls.

I've used better
by genuinecaligur ,Sep 25 '06
Pros: Two different types of barrels Cons: long heat up time, noisy
I have stick straight hair. I am looking for a curling iron I can turn and get curls in a few minutes. This curling iron took a long time to heat up, was as noisy as a hair dryer and was overall unimpressive.
