Complete waste of money
by upstatechick ,May 29 '08
Pros: it's a pretty color Cons: almost complete junk, failed to work after very little use
I purchased this toaster in January to use in my new house. I only toast things once in a while - certainly not every day. Now, four months later, the spring mechanism doesn't work at all and the toaster is useless. It used to be that the Toastmaster name meant quality -- ha! those days are long gone. sucks

Pros: It works great for bagels Cons: sucks for anything else
The toaster isn't overall bad, but I never cared for the one adjustment on the unit. My eggos and my toast wwill never firmly press against either side. It kind of slouches to one side. I have had the unit a few years now and today I finally read adjustable slot for thick and thin width. So I start looking for the switch to make it for thin breads (eggos). No can do, so I decide to go to this sight and then I read self adjust from the last reviewer. What an explanation from toastmaster. Gonna go out and buy a different one now. Not by toastmaster. So my eggos get cooked right. I would not reccommend it to a friend or even give mine to a friend. Into the trash it goes.
