Pros: Good safety features, cost efficient, easy to use. Cons: Straps get twisted easily.
At about one year of age, my daughter had outgrown her original car seat and it was necessary for us to upgrade. We looked at many different models and decided on Cosco Juvenile Alpha Omega Convertible 22-150. We used the Internet to ...
Pros: Fully padded, 5-point, adjustable harness, LATCH system-equipped, grows WITH child!!! Cons: Hard to remove infant head support, installation
After our son got too big for the carrying car seat, it was time for us to begin the hunt for the next stage in seats. But where do we begin... there are so many types at a wide range of prices. After checking out seats at 5 different stores, we came ...
Pros: Competitive price, comfortable for toddlers Cons: twisting straps, not the best choice for young infants
You certainly get what you pay for with the Costco Alpha Omega Elite, and in this case it has been tons of aggravation! We were attracted to this seat because it looked nice and comfortable, the price was affordable, and it was recommended by my ...
Pros: Easy to install, great customer service. Cons: False advertising, won’t fit most newborns, outgrown at 2.5-3 y/o.
The bottom line: Not recommended. There are other seats that are a much better value for your money. We purchased this when my son was 4 months old. At this age, he fit nicely into it. We had to stop using the AOE when he was 2.5 years old, 33 ...
Pros: Has all features for all ages Cons: Pinches even a small baby's legs.
Our experience We recently were in an accident and needed to replace our car seat. Since our daughter was still under 20 lb, we decided to look for one that could be used both rear-facing and forward-facing so that she would not grow out of it ...
Pros: Versatile - 5 to 100 lbs. Padding - comfortable, soft, washable Easy to install Cons: Heavy/bulky No handle for use as infant carrier Straps twist Arm rests - get in way
My review will be one of the few stating I've been pleased w/ the Cosco Alpha Omega Elite after 3 years. W/ a 13 year gap between my oldest and youngest, I was at a loss. After research and solicited advice I chose this seat for ...
Pros: 5-100 lbs, comfortable seat, straps easy to adjust, Safe Cons: the cup holder is in a bad place
This car seat is great, the weight range is 5 to 100 lbs. First is can be used as a rear facing infant seat. Then you can turn it around and use the 5 point harness. Then when your child gets too big for that you can use this car seat with the lap belt ...
Pros: Affordable. Long lasting. Cons: Uncomfortable for Infants. Hard to clean.
Need an affordable do-it-all seat? Then this is for you. However, like most multi-function items, it doesn't do anything great. First, why buy it? You can use this seat for your child's entire childhood. It goes from 5-100 lbs. It can go forward or ...
Pros: style value and comfort and the look sold us immediately. The colors perfect. Cons: I really do not think I could say anything bad about this seat.
This car seat was great for my son. We loved the look and the fact that my son loved sitting in it. The colors and style were exactly what we wanted. The Quality stands out. We will be able to pass this seat down to the next child we have. We like that ...
Pros: excellent choice to grow with your child without making you purchase multiple seats. Cons: A little more expensive but well worth it.
Our son it tall for his age, so at 9 months we decided it was time to take him from the carrier to a big car seat. We looked at several different ones in the store then I started looking online. I discovered that half of the car seats we looked at ...
Pros: Cushy foam. Arm rests. Cons: Difficult to install. Infant's head falls forward while sleeping. Difficult to tighten.
My mother purchased the Cosco Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat to keep in her car. I had read that this was a good, safe car seat and so when it went on sale, we bought it. The very first time we attempted to install the seat ...
Cosco Propack LX Travel System by kelli16839 ,Nov 24 '08
Pros: NO PRO Cons: JUST DONT PURCHASE
From day 1 this car seat was hard to buckle. We have to literally stand up and push as hard as we can to get it to buckle. When you get it buckled the part that latches into the buckle is so wide it digs into my sons legs. Its a wast of money you will be buying a new one within a month or two if you purchase it, so please save your money. They are not willing to help do anything to make the customer happy either.
Pros: The pros are the carseat has easy to adjust straps. Cons: I haven't found a con yet!
We have three children in car seats. None of which we have converted to using a shoulder strap. We have never had any previously mentioned problems with pinching or difficulty installing the seat. As my youngest is out growing the infant carrier we will be sure to buy another Cosco Alpha Omega Elite.
Pros: Everything about this seat is a "Pro!" The latch system, buckles, saftey, comfort.
Cons: Sorry, but I cannot write anything for "Cons" for this seat.
We have had this car seat for 3.5 yrs now since my son was born. 2 weeks ago I was in a terrible accident where a drunk driver ran a stop sign and rolled my truck 3 times having it land on the roof. My son, in the center of the back seat strapped into this car seat emerged from the truck without ANY injuries! Not even a scratch!
Nothing is wrong with it from what we can tell. It's Latch system held fast and the buckles worked like a charm. This seat didn't budge. I will replace this seat only due to the fact it was in an accident. I will also replace it with an exact duplicate!
THANK YOU COSCO! Thank you for protecting my most cherished posession! MY SON.
Pros: Delivers on it's safety. Cons: Nothing at all bad to say.
My 18 month old son was in this seat when we were hit from behind by a car going 60 mph. My neck and back were injured and my wrist broken. My car was pretty badly smashed up. My son was completely injury free, not so much as a headache. I can not recommend this car seat enough. I had taken the time to install the seat correctly. Follow the instructions, it was really easy. I suggest going by your local Fire Department, they will check out your carseat for free. As recommended after an accident, I replaced the carseat. I went right out and bought another seat identical to the first. My highest rating on the Carseat and I speak from experience.
