The Cosco Touriva is a very nice seat. I purchased mine from Wal-Mart for $45 after researching this model. I thought the price would reflect the quality--very well made. Purchased for 2 yr. old grandson and he loves it. He always "wants to go with NaNa"! Only down side is flip top should ALWAYS be down after removing child when in the sun--underside gets very hot and could burn child's legs/lap!!!! Found that one out BEFORE too late!!! Overall a very good and sturdy car seat for kids! Price very good too!

Cons: I do not recommend this seat,the straps are too easy to get out of.

I was very pleased with this car seat until recently. My darling daughter has figured out how to get the straps loosened enough to slip her arms out of the straps then stands up in the seat. On several occasions she has proudly deposited herself into the passenger seat next to me, nearly causing a car wreck because I was so startled. As I stated earlier I was very pleased with this seat, it seems to be very comfortable. The overhead shield provides a nice table for her to play or snooze. The hooks and fasteners that holds the cover on do wear out rather quickly so avoid washing. The price is great, but time for me to look for a more secure seat.
