Pros: Great restaurant. Cons: NOT an eco-resort, as advertised.
We just spent a week at Costanoa, and the experience was not what we were expecting. The website advertises the place as an eco-tourist destination, yet with so many monstrous motorhomes around us, it just didn't feel like the people attracted to the ...

GREAT PLACE TO STAY!
by jwjones ,Sep 30 '07
Pros: Fabulous food - friendly people! Cons: speed bumps are terrible....
Recently we stayed at the Costanoa Lodge & RV Resort....we had a simply wonderful time. It was VERY busy with lots of families & tourists, but never seemed overcrowded. The sites for RV's were adequate & everyone we met (store, restaurant etc.) were very friendly. We will definitely recommend Costanoa to our friends & come back the next time we are in CA. Everyone in the store was very helpful & friendly. Kursti in the restaurant is very sweet - everyone seems to know their jobs well. The food in the restaurant is wonderful!!

The place looked run down, the restrooms weren't stocked with proper supplies, and the attendees seemed to have left their mobile home parks to venture out in their motor homes. I was extremely disappointed and may not return should things remain in this manner.
