"Crimson Skies High Road To Revenge" Air Piracy Can Be Fun.

by Pandemonium Pandemonium is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Games, , May 18 '09
Pros: Good story, easy to learn controls, graphics, fun characters, and Online.
Cons: Very hard to find a game online, game is just a little to short.
Good airlplane games have always been hard to find no matter what system you look on. Back in the old PC games all of the irplane simulators were so in-depth you really needed a pilot license to understand what you were doing. Later, more arcade style ...

Crimson Skies: Microsoft Finally Doesn't Screw One Up.

by Alkaiser Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Dec 30 '03
Pros: Tight controls, fun gameplay, nice graphics.
Cons: Short in single player...more "fly through the canyon" missions.
Flight combat games have been one of my favorite niche genres ever since I'd played the original Red Baron on my PC. That thing must have been running at, like, 3 frames a second when there were 4 or more planes on the screen, but damn if I wasn't having ...

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge - Aerial Combat Evolved

by madtheory Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Nov 04 '04
Pros: Cool gameplay, great sound effects and graphics, interesting storyline, Live compatible.
Cons: Canyon and escort missions, weak wingmen.
With Halo 2 dropping November 9th (less than a week!), I thought it might be prudent for me to go ahead and purchase XBox Live before I purchased the game. This way I could head off any potential connectivity issues well before it was time to ...

Crimson Skies; High Road to Revenge for the Xbox

by phungus, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Aug 15 '07
Pros: Great graphics and sound
Cons: Nobody plays it on Xbox Live any more
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is a flying game for the Xbox. It was one of the first titles made available for the video game console, and also one of the first games that you could play on Xbox Live. It won several awards in 2003, including ...

Wow! Finally a dogfighting game I actually enjoyed

by porkandbeans , May 11 '04
Pros: Story, Controls, Voice Acting, Gameplay, Multiplayer
Cons: Some textures could be better, sound gets cut off at times.
Let me start off this review by saying that I don't like flying games. Never have, I always found the controls in these kinds of games too hard to get used to, and the actual experience not a very involving one. That being said, this game is ...

High Road to Online Play

by fadywwf316 , Oct 30 '03
Pros: Very fun online, great nonstop action I haven't seen in years, no seen lag.
Cons: Can be boring if you suck online, but that won't be the case usually.
Well I really do not know where to start. The first place I think I should start is to tell you that right away if you do not have Xbox Live, you are probably going to miss out on 60% of the fun. The single player is fun however once you get the hang o ...

Best Xbox flying game

by jkafer Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 200, Jan 24 '05
Pros: Excellent campaign, fantastic Live support
Cons: Dogfighting can get a little repetive, but this is minor.
Introduction I’m a big fan of the original Crimson Skies for Windows. I was very enthusiastic about this game since I love the franchise. There’s something about the smarmy Indiana Jones style of action, story and dialog. I picked up Crimson ...

Crimson Skies more discount airline than first-class carrier, but still a fun trip.

by christwofour , Nov 15 '04
Pros: Fun and engaging gameplay. Good graphics and sound. Imaginative plane design and offbeat plotline.
Cons: Some single-player levels repetitive. Some cutscenes can't be skipped. Plane upgrade system too simplistic.
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is an engaging and imaginative foray into an alternate world where zeppelins and prop planes rule the skies. Taking to the air as the leader of a rag tag group of sky pirates, you find yourself fighting rival gangs and ...

Best Xbox Live game I have

by iron44eagle , Mar 09 '07
Pros: Best replay value, excellent multiplayer, amazing on Xbox live
Cons: Takes a little while to get used to.
This game is just so cool. The single player alone is great, this game really comes alive on Xbox live though. As some people may know a lot of the Xbox live games out there have a lot of cursing and trash talk. This is one of the rare games out there ...

Crimson Skies for Xbox

by morris64468 , Apr 27 '04
Pros: lots of planes, upgrades, good detail, sound, exceptional gameplay.
Cons: pretty short in single player mode
The campaign is broke into areas, you will have more than 1 mission at your use, remember that only 1 path of the missions will take you to the game's next game point. One of the better abilities is that you can actually control the speed of your ...

An enjoyable air Combat Game
by samf2000 ,May 01 '06
Pros: Great graphics, sound and controls
Cons: If you prone to Gaming Queaziness with lots of motion skip it.
With the popularity of online focused in on FPS Type gaming, it was nice to see a flight combat game that has everything you could ask for. As soon as you start the game your treated to a great opening movie that has you leaving the girl you were with that night after losing your plane from a bet. This game really adds dimension to the gamblers in all of us with racing for money and loot you pick up along each mission. Graphically this game rocks with great clouds, water and textures. The gameplay could get you a bit queazy after a few minutes if your like me who get motion sickness but a very enjoyable flying combat experience overall. You can land and switch planes, get your plane repaired, Race or just go on a mission. The choice is up to you.
