DeLonghi RO2058 Toaster Oven with Convection Cooking

Pros: Great Nostalgic Look. Large Cooking Cavity.
Cons: Toasting or Pizza warming is slow and uneven. Elements can burn you easy.

Pros: i liked the oven size, the convection and especially the lighted interior. it's nice looking.
Cons: the side rails for the wire tray are designed incorrectly.

the oven's inside side rails where the wire tray slides are designed incorrectly. each side rail (groove) is only on the front third and the back third. this allows the wire tray to tilt when you pull it out at the half way mark... and if it's something slick on the bottom like a plate - the plate will slide off of the wire tray.

absolutely a disaster if it's something like a caserole that can splash on you.

DO NOT BUY THIS PETICULAR OVEN.

Pros:  Good size interior that can hold my regular sized cooking pans/dishes.  Heated up quickly.
Cons: Rack tilts downwards  Can be dangerous. 
Product died after owning it for 9 months. 

I had owned a DeLonghi convection toaster oven for 15 years and it worked beautifully.  So when it finally stopped working I bought this oven about 9 months ago and quite liked it at first.  It held a good sized pizza and seemed to cook quickly enough.  Last week while in the middle of cooking 2 chicken breasts in it - it just died!  I tried to turn it off then back on again - nothing.  Dead as a doornail. 
I called the local repair shop for this particular brand, gave them the serial # and he said it had just come out of warranty (how convenient) Apparently they go by the serial # and not when it was actually purchased. 
They wanted $50.00 labour parts and taxes.  I can honestly say I would not recommend this particular toaster oven
