Pros: Nice info commercials. Cons: Does not work as advertised.
Products like the Snuggie meet or exceed promises made in their infomercials, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Dentemp, the temporary dental repair kit you see advertised on late night cable stations.A lot of folks may be putting off ...

Pros: None. Cons: All.

Great for short term use!

Pros: Cheap. Quick. Painless. Cons: Temporary fix. Slight chalky, clove taste.
I was cruising on a boat when my gold crown fell out of my mouth. Dentemp really saved the day (actually 10 days). I did not use it to cement the crown back in place since I was afraid of swallowing it if it came loose again. Instead, I followed directions for replacing a filling, rolled a very small ball of Dentemp, and stuck it in place. The slight clove tastes disappears in about an hour. It's been over a week now, and I have replaced it three times. There's enough left in the vial for another 3 or 4 uses.
I avoid chewing on that side of my mouth and I wouldn't try eating a bagel, but for a short term fix to hold me until I get home and see my dentist, it's perfect. I have no pain, no sensitivity, and I'm not worrying about part of my tooth cracking off. I called my dentist who said this is the right stuff to use.
I'm buying several more packages to put in my first aid kits at home and on my boat. It's much better than the alternatives. (Aside from seeing a dentist immediately, there ARE no alternatives.!
