I was looking for a bottle that really worked as advertised and I finally found it. Dr. Brown's bottles are awesome! I had been using Avent during the first 6 weeks after bringing my son home and had been extremely disappointed. Not only did they not reduce the amount of air my baby was swallowing they leaked horribly. My son was having problems with gas and stomach upset. I decided to give Dr. Brown's a try. Yes I considered cheaper bottles, but you get what you pay for and sometimes you have to shell out a little more for quality. I immediately noticed a difference. He wasn't burping as much after feedings. Additionally, the gas problems he'd had for weeks, subsided within 48 hours. As the mother of 4, I have quite a bit of experience with bottles over the years and I must say these are the best bottles I've ever used.
