Pros: Go anywhere in the west Cons: Not for firm snow...
Summary:Dynastar improves on it's popular 4x4 powertrac with Autodrive. Pros: Exceptional confidence plus a swoop at the end of every turn. Cons:Took about a year to break in my 4x4 Powertrac, can be a plank in the powder. Compare to: Rossignol ...

Pros: Easy riders - soak up bumps and turn intuitively (imagine that) Cons: Slightly too soft and wide for my taste
I demo'd these skis at Kirkwood recently, and compared to my old skis it was like going from a Geo Metro to a Cadillac. I say Cadillac rather than some other nice car because they really do ride that way - you literally cannot feel any bumpiness in the...

Awesome! An "E" Ticket to the whole mountain
by sniffage ,Nov 30 '03
Pros: Power turns, blasts through crud Cons: doesn't like the groomed so much
These bad boys put my snowboard in early retirement last season. I had heard all the claims about improvements in skiing technology so I thought I would give it a go after switching to snowboarding about 6 years ago. I demo'ed Bandit XX, Salomon X Scream Series, and an Atomic Ride model (can not remember which model). All were a fare improvement of the straight sticks that I shelved years ago. The Intuitive 74 was my clear favorite, followed by the Bandit XX. The Salomon and the Atomic chattered on hard pack, especially at speed. The Intuitive 74 opens the entire mountain to tracks. They blast through crud with total control. You will never miss a turn again.

great for soft
by drsoar ,Apr 09 '04
Pros: Great for soft, be it packed, deep, or crud. Even OK on deep soft moguls Cons: Ice and hard moguls...avoid (who doesn't)
The 2003-4 Intuitive 74 175cm (not the same as the photo) proved to be as the reviews said: in spring and powder in Utah they proved superb, both on packed and in the deep, albeit nothing like a 90mm wide plank.
For a light weight (140lb) all mountain expert who hates the hard, they are great. I could ski the deep at a variety of speeds, great on the steep. Don't hold on ice as well as my 200cm parabolics! but who skis that anyway.
They stay stable at speed so long as you keep them on edge, carve surprisingly well on hard packed.
