Pros: Great tonal versatility, superior design and construction, light weight, relatively inexpensive. Cons: Too loud to play at home or in an apartment building.
The Fender Hot Rod DeVille 410 is a mid-priced professional stage tube guitar amplifier with solid-state reverb. This version of the Deville has four 10" speakers contrasted with the two 12" speakers of the DeVille 212 model. The Peavey Classic 50 410 ...
Pros: Untouchable cleans and reverb, pleanty of gigging power, can get great distortion. Cons: Master volume knob on overdrive channel is a little too sensative.
First off know that this amp does exactly what it was designed to do - and it does it nearly perfectly. An open back 60watt tube 4x10 is really made to do great cleans and open sounding distortion. In my opinion, no other mainstream amp (Peavey, ...
Pros: Affordable, Fender, great sound, loud! Cons: Heavy, one eq for all channels
For years I've been playing though Amp/cabinet stacks thinking it was the only way to get the big sound I like. Lately, I've gotten sick of packing all that stuff around and I began looking for something in a smaller package that could still deliver and...
Pros: Great clean lead sound; LOUD 60 watts.. Cons: too uppermid/lower treble dominant; heavy; not versatile at all
I bought this amp almost exclusively based on how cool the clean sound is for lead.
It's essentially a Bassman variant. Overall it's a bit bright in the lower treble region. It has a traditionally peaky Fender highend, in a pleasing manner,...
Pros: Tone,Volume Price, Customer Service Cons: Weight, Top Heavy, No Room on top to place other amps
I originally bought this amp because I wanted a good
sounding tube amp without having to pay a fortune for it.
I compared it to Marshall, Mesa , Laney , and more expensive
Fenders, and found it offered a lot of sound and good ...
Monster Clean, Exciter Gain by darknoise ,Aug 25 '05
Pros: Clen Channel
Crunch Channel
Versatility
Speakers
Construction Cons: 38 kg
This amp is awesome. Let the valves get hot for 2 minutes.. and play. The clean channel is so expressive that make you want to cry. Like a voice. It has a lot of dynamics. Trueee bass.. trueee mids, tureee treble. The First gain channel is perfect for warm overdrive, usable for alternative rock, rock, post rock, ecc.. the more gain channel is very aggressive, very "chukky". For chukky I mean that kind of sound that is aggressive without being compressed or altered (an example is the groove part of "tell me mary" by "One Dimensiona Man" that with powerchords opening a world of power sound. The construction is awesome. Grooove tubes 6l6 works as well. It is 38 kg.. very very very.. but if you buy some kind of carrel with wheels that's solved.. for this soudn i can transport even 50 kg :> Buy it. A monster
