Pros: 2 year warranty, very quiet, Energy Star, EASY (my 9 year old does the laundry!) Cons: Cost is non-negotiable, not good for small spaces, how long will it last?
I was in the market for a new dryer (which had decided after 35 years of dutiful service to self-destruct) when my washer decided it was going to join the mutiny. Figuring I might get a decent "deal" on a set, I began to take on the task of researching a ...
Pros: Simple to use. Lots of cycles to choose from. NO agitator! Cons: Not all wash cycles are customizable or adjustable. Not a big deal though.
I've had my Aquasmart Washer for about six months now. I've done nearly 50 loads in that time and never been happier or had so much fun doing my laundry. My 10 year old Amana washer went kaput on me...it was the transmission, a costly $250 repair. I ...
Pros: 2yr. warranty, easy use, decent price, super efficient.... Cons: Good thing there's a warranty!!....
I do LOVE this washer/dryer set, but there is downfalls (I'll explain further down).LOVE:....Compact design, commonly quiet, handles rather large loads with ease, the price was decent, the warranty is good, the functions are SUPER EASY to ...
Pros: Top loading
Water saver
Easy to use
Gets clothes MUCH cleaner
Cons: None
My dryer motor was giving out, requiring two noisy cycles to almost dry a load of clothes. I started researching dryers, looking for one without lots of complaints. The traditional brands gave mixed reviews, with people either loving them or hating ...
Pros: Looks great. Easy to use. Works great. Quiet. Cons: The method for using liquid bleach is not ideal.
I bought this Fisher & Paykel washer and dryer about a month ago. It is wonderful. You can use it on HE or traditional wash. It has every imaginable cycle setting. If there’s a cycle you need that it doesn’t have, you can just create your own by ...
Pros: Cleans extremely well, less water used tons of settings / features. Very Quiet. Cons: Customer support is practically non existent! If something goes wrong, your on your own. Disappointing
Purchased new at the end of Jan 2008. Took a chance on a machines we never heard of before. Especially with a digital control panel. Digital Control always makes us nervous (More to go wrong). Used maybe 3 times before going away for 2 weeks in ...
Great washing machine, no problems! by cuda2000 ,Dec 24 '08
Pros: Clothes are clean! Quiet! No problems! Cons: Can't think of any.
I've had the aquasmart washing machine since Feb 08 and I've done over 100 loads with it (it keeps track). Absolutely no problems with it. It is quiet (we have it in a second floor closet next to our bedroom), washes HUGE loads, queen sized comforter no problem, you will be amazed on how much you can shove in there at once and it still gets clean! Spin cycle gets clothes dry to the point that the dryer doesn't take long to dry them. Totally worth the money in my opinion. And at the end of a load it says Have a nice day! I totally joke about that with my wife.
Pros: Top loading, large capacity Cons: Too much scrolling to get to the info I want.
I have had the Aquasmart washer almost a year. I miss dials!!! The reason I miss dials is I could see the length of the wash cycle immediately and not have to scroll through several screens. I love the top leading large capacity and the clothes come out well. I just find the washer offers too many choices
Pros: cleans excellent, quiet, easy to use Cons: not saving any money on water or electric hot water, plastic top
We purchased this washer and matching dryer 10 months ago now and as a washing machineit is great, as an HE washing machine I am disappointed. My clothes come out clean, very clean and almost dry. I cannot explain why my bills have not dropped at all, in fact gallons and kilowatts used have went up slightly since they were installed. We do really like the way it cleans clothes. It has many options but is very simple to use.
My biggest recommendation would be where to buy. When I was comparing prices they were the same everywhere (like a Weber grill). I purchased from a local mom and pop store and they installed (ok set up and hooked up lines) for free, but I seen one thing in common with negative reviews on this washer...they were bought at a do-it-yourself store and installed themselves. Plus if I were to have a problem, it seems to matter if you are dealing with the person whose name in on the front of the building, not on a removable name tag.
Pros: Dual use old vs new. how dry the cloths are after wash. Cons: I miss the dials. The controls take some time to get use to.
Got from Sears surplus & outlet as a floor model with a scratch or two for $600.00. We wanted a high efficiency washer and really did not want a front load machine as we heard a lot of negatives regarding performance and life expectancy. We chose this washer because it can be used as both a conventional washer and a high efficiency washer. You get the best of both worlds and the ability to spin at a 1000 rpm's
After a couple of weeks, it does not clean any better than our old Maytag, but does not clean any worse. I will say that I'm impressed on how dry the cloths come out and how much less drying time is required.
It's a bit different to use and you do have to buy a different soap, but all in all, it works very well. It sounds like a high speed turbine shutting down after it completes the spin cycle, but it really is very quite otherwise.
