Pros: Easy to Use, Doesn't take up much counter space, Tastes GREAT! Cons: Pink Grapefruit stains
We ordered from Soda-Club USA and didn't have the best of customer service. In fact, our order was shipped in two different shipments, a week apart, without any notice. We received the machine and one container of carbonation, but that was it, leaving ...

Pros: Convenient and easy to use. Cons: Not for the non-Splenda crowd. Non-retail bottle replacement can increase cost.
I can't say enough good about the Soda Club Fountain Jet Soda Maker. Making your own soft drinks at home isn't a concept most Americans would think about. Historically, soda at home has been in the American culture for a long time. Long gone ...

Pros: makes great soda Cons: impossible to get refills
The soda makers are great but their refill process with the carbonators is ridiculous. They refuse to use ups, fedex, or any other reliable service and all they have is their "courier" who will show up at any time of the day or night. (My initial ...

Regular soda mixes taste like diet soda
by broadcast-engr ,Nov 18 '06
Pros: Many flavor choices, good value, easy to use. 30 day return privilege (less shipping costs). Cons: If don't like diet sodas, you're not going to like the "regular" soda mixes.
I bought the Soda Club Fountain Jet soda maker as part of the Value Pack. As soon as it came, I chilled some water and then followed the instructions (which were clear) and mixed up a liter of root beer. My wife liked it. I thought it tasted like diet root beer. So I mixed up a liter of cola. It tasted like diet cola to me. I double checked and I was using the regular (non-diet) mixes. I checked the ingredients and found that the regular sodas include, in addition to sugar, acesulfame K and sucralose, which is supposedly the same as "Splenda." So, it appears to be a mixture of sugar and diet-type sweeteners. Well, I noticed right away. I do not like diet sodas. I am returning the package.

Excellent Product - lives up to my expectations
by jdarchplnr ,Oct 23 '07
Pros: Best home seltzer/soda maker system Cons: The size of the maker is very large for a counter.
Soda Club's Fountain Jet Soda Maker system has fulfilled my expectations of it. The product really does create vigorously bubbly seltzer water that tastes to me like bottled seltzer. I have used both Brita filtered water and NYC tap and both taste great.
The soda mixes work well too - my favorite is the Ginger Ale which tastes identical to that which I'd normally purchase. The added bonus though is that I'm not drinking high fructose corn syrup product.
I'm very glad to not have to lug those heavy bottles of seltzer home from the grocery (I drink lots of seltzer) and I don't feel as guilty about the plastic waste.

Worth Every Penny

Pros: Easy to use, economical, tastes fine. Cons: Returning co2 bottles
I purchased a basic soda club package six months ago. I do drink diet soda, although I am picky about which brands. In any case I am very very happy with this product.
It is really economical and easy to use. There is no funny aftertaste with the soda syrup. There is a large variety of flavor choices. I also like to drink plain seltzer/club soda water, and it offers great savings just for that. When you think of all the 'flavored carbonated water' available for purchase---imagine the savings on mixing your own.
