Pros: Very Quiet, Price can't be beat Cons: None so Far.
I recently purchased a 1997 Z28 that had the stock P235/50ZR16 Goodyear tires on it. One thing I noticed was the incredibly loud road noise at highway speeds. I was ready to spend several hundred dollars in damping materials around the wheel wells to ...

Pros: Can't think of any. Cons: Rough, loud ride Zero handling in any kind of weather
I bought a full set of these tires when my 2003 Ford Focus ZX3 destroyed 3 of its 4 tires when driving over sharp rocks that had fallen in a canyon. At the time, I had a set of Fuzion HRI's and was quite pleased with the general handling of my ...

Not bad for the price
by white_horse ,Nov 19 '05
Pros: Cheap, decent handling in wet & dry Cons: noisey
These are a good tire for the price. I have them on a 2002 Tran Am and do spirited driving to say the least. The dry traction is excellent. The wet traction is decent, definitely better than the Goodyears that came stock. You do hear a lot of road noise with them though. Also, you can feel the sidewall roll while cornering. The treadlife on them seems to be doing pretty decent so far.

Good on dry, Bad on Everything else
by bearvp ,Jan 18 '07
Pros: Dry Pavement grip and handling Cons: Wet traction is average, Snow/Ice traction non-existent
These tires came with my 2004 Lexus IS300 and were a smooth, tight drive on dry pavement. Wet pavement proved for more restrained handling as these tires didn't grip very well. But the biggest issue is their traction on snow/ice. It snowed very early where I live and didn't have a chance to buy new winter tires (my fault), but these Fuzions offered no traction to speak of. I actually got in an accident because of their lack of traction on ice/snow. I guess since these are cheap summer tires you get what you pay for, but I honestly don't feel safe using them again unless the pavement I drive on is 100% dry.

Fuzion ZRi Tire Review
by p51cadillac ,Aug 24 '05
Pros: Excellent performance, ride, and especially the price! Cons: None
I just replaced the tires on my Celica GT with these Firestone Fuzion ZRi tires in size 205/55ZR15. These are far superior to the Goodyear Eagle GT's that I replaced. They have greater grip and better ride than the Goodyear's and they were less than half the price.
I recommend these tires to anyone who desires performance and ride comfort in a street performance tire. I reviewed many other brands and tire models before I made my purchase and I am thoroughly pleased. Not bad Firestone! These were comparable to the Potenz's, again at less than half the price.

Fusion HRi Tire
by pdgomom ,Aug 14 '09
Pros: Lower cost Cons: Extremely noisy, major vibration with wear, SHORT lifespan
These tires started out as a good tire. They did well until about 30,000 miles. Then, if they got close to having put 2,000 miles on them they got noisier. Now at 40,000 they are noisy all the time and when you get close to 2,000 miles on them - they vibrate something awful. If I do not have them rotated and balanced at least every 2,000 miles they will literally shake your eyeballs out. Would not recommend these tires AT ALL.

great performer
by voiceprint1 ,Sep 22 '05
Pros: tight handling, solid straight line grip, good braking grip. Cons: bad over painted surfaces. also they look bulkier than most low profile tires.
Had these on for about 2500 miles, and have felt great grip, tight cornering and very stable, although my car (02 VR6 Jetta) seems to absorb alot of noise from the road these are fairly quite. notice road vibration at stoplight, possible due to these being low profile. treads pick up every stone, and impossible to drive on dirt road.

Fuzion ZRI - great tires
by alangh ,Jun 30 '05
Pros: dry traction, wet traction, price Cons: noisier and harsher than Michelins
replaced a set of Michelin Pilots with ZRIs. Much better traction. When slaloming my 85 Jaguar XJS TWR the car was very loose with the Pilots. With the ZRIs the back end is planted to the road.
Also much better wet traction than the Pilots. The car was scary in a strong rain on Pilots - take a corner with any spirit at all and the car was swapping ends. Now it is very tight. And much less hydro-planing.
And all this for $100 less per tire than Pilots. Thanks Bridgestone.

Fuzions are ok but not the best.
by alphaproject ,Jan 30 '06
Pros: Wet performance, looks, overall grip. They don't squeal. Cons: Wear very quickly.....very quickly.
Got a full 4 tires for a Turbo PT cruiser and I loved the initial ride, and grip wasn't too bad. They are awesome in the rain I must admit and it really rains here in Florida when it wants to.
The bad thing about these tires is for 235/45/17 they aren't that cheap anymore. $134 a piece. This is for a no name brand tire.
We are not going to even get 20k out of these tires with hardly aggressive driving at all.
I think I'm going to move to either some Falken ST115s or Fulda Quantum Elites. Both of these should be slightly cheaper with a few more miles out of them.
Here's what I have noticed about the handling as well.
Turning sharply is not the best thing in this tire....maybe soft sidewalls. It's best at maintaining grip around ramps though at high speeds.
The tires were rotated alot but still had some uneven corners cupping a bit. That was getting me mad. My Dayton ZR tires have lasted alot longer, so much so, that I might need to get them replaced simply because of slow tire rot.

Awesome AND cheap
by trident18 ,Mar 20 '05
Pros: Great dry and wet traction. Incredibly cheap prices. "W" rated tire. Cons: short treadlife- warned that it could be as low as 25K miles.
I've been driving on these tires for a few months and I love them. They have transformed my Protege5. No more squealing on corners. No hydroplaning at 45MPH or spinning tires in the rain after stops. I went a slight bit wider than OEM (205s instead of 195s) and it seems to work great.
I'd recommend them to anyone. I just got a 2001 MercedesBenz SLK230 that needs tires and it's going to get a set tomorrow.

Great tire for performance summer driving
by downinit369 ,Jul 02 '09
Pros: Very grippy in dry and wet. Affordable. Cons: A little noisy, Almost no traction in snow.
For the price the Fuzion ZRi can't be beat as an ultra high performance summer tire. Though, if your looking for a quiet ride or an all-season tire (except if you live where it never snows or are willing to switch out tires every fall and spring) don't buy this tire. The tread on this tire is directional so in order to have traction in very wet conditions make sure to have it properly installed.
They also look great on my 2007 Mustang with 20 inch tires (much better than the donuts that came from the factory).

defective fuzion tires
by ewg116 ,Jun 11 '08
Pros: My car is amazing, handles any situation with perfection, tires not so much Cons: 2 flat tires in a span of a week, and another blew out on highway
I purchase 4 fuzion tires for a 328i BMW spring of 2007. October 2007, 2 of the tires went flat, separate times, but within a week of each other. We replaced one of them, and fixed the other and switched it with my spare. After that point, my tires have been fine, I put roughly 1100 miles on them. Memorial Day weekend I was on the highway, and one of them blew out- it was weird because I always check the tire pressure before going on long distance trips, and it was normal. I pulled over and coasted to a stop, and the fuzion tire was totally ruined. I hardly know anything about cars, but the inside of the tire where the writing is, had a clean cut the whole way around. My car alignment was perfect, and I have no idea what else would cause this kind of problem with the tire. My advice is just to be careful, and its worth it to spend the extra money for a good safe set of tires. I'm so lucky that I didn't spin out or hit anyone when the blow out happened, but others might not be that lucky.
