Pros: Fast clean clothes
Cons: Size and it weighs alot.

We needed a new dryer, my wife fell in love with this set and bought the pair.  I thought the old washer was just fine.  Boy was I wrong.  This one is great.  The clothes come out of the high speed spin almost dry.  It uses much less water then the old washer.  I'll save a bundle

Pros: Cleans nicely.  Spins things pretty dry.Low Energy, Low Water.
Cons: LONG CYCLES.  Settings don't ideally accommodate cloth diaper laundering.

We went with the Consumer Reports "Best Buy" to save research hassle, but there are 2 issues I have with this.  First, is the EXTREMELY LONG cycle times.  The time the machine displays must be an estimate because, for example, my SPEED, LIGHT-SOIL, NO-SPIN cycle time was displayed as 30 minutes, but I clocked it at 41 minutes.  My WHITES, EXTRA-RINSE cycle estimated 1:10, but actually took 1:52!  
Secondly, we bought this about 2 months before  I began washing cloth diapers.  The ideal process for these relatively small, yet frequent loads is COLD PRE-RINSE, HOT WASH, EXTRA RINSE.  There is no setting for PRE-RINSE so I have been combining the aforementioned 2 cycles and it takes forever!
Overall - the machine washes regular household laundry SLOWLY but very well.  I do not recommend it for CLOTH DIAPERING families.

We bought the pre-decessor model(..6600)  in March 2008. after 6 months the softener dispensing did not work anymore, in November the spinning noises became bad, washer started "walking around". Technician diagnosed a warped drum. Got it replaced with this model (...6800). No, 11 months later, the shaking has appeared - with almost each cycle, looks like the same problem we had with the pre-decessor model (they look identical).
