Pros: Auto-Double Sided printing, great resolution. Cons: Slower and more expensive than 952C.
I have no problems with the 970 Series printer, in fact it's an excellent printer. But in comparison to the 952C series, it's actually not the steal of the century.
If it's double sided printing your looking to do, this may be your printer of...

Pros: Very sharp, professional looking print outs Cons: Runs through a lot of ink - and new cartridges cost a bundle
When I was about to choose a new printer to go along with my new computer this April, I knew what I was not looking for. That was a printer that would jam, that had trouble-some paper handling, or didn't print sharp enough colors (I like to print...

Pros: Print quality, automatic 2-sided printing, USB or parallel Cons: Price, cartridge prices, print speed
Over the years, I've owned a whole array of Inkjet, Dot-Matrix (yes, you heard me correctly), Bubble, and Laser printers, and I must say that the HP 970Cxi is the best printer I have ever owned.
When in full-blown high-quality mode, the color...

Pros: Superlative Print Quality, quietness, speed, two-sided printing is fab Cons: USB can be tempramental, Cartidges are expensive
I got my 970 at a pretty generous discount (a mere £170 GBP, about $265). Having had an HP inkjet before (a 690 Series), I knew to expect excellent reliability, minimal paper jams and reliable software. I have not been disappointed.
The 970...

Pros: Good on all paper Cons: Price
I looked at printers over a year trying to decide; seeing the various models of Lexmark, Epson, Cannon and HP over that time. The criteria I used was how well the machine was built, quality of the images reproduced, cost basis of the ink (ink usage and...

Pros: Good quality in general Cons: Can have a few glitches
I have been through many printers in my time, both colour, and just plain black, but the 970Cxi, has to be one of the best that I have had. It is precise, in not only being able to print size 2 text that is perfectly readable, but it will also...

Pros: Two-sided printing, quiet, long lasting ink cartridges, envelope feed, quality print Cons: USB install must be done in sequence, not plug and play
I bought the HP 970Cxi around 8 months ago for the excellent price of $299.00 with no shipping charge. My primary use for this printer is for home use and I print approximately 10-15 pages per day. It has worked flawlessly since purchase.
I...

Pros: Quick and quiet printing, colorful copies I'm proud to send my customers Cons: Better for small jobs because it doesn't hold much paper (about 75 sheets, I estimate)
My company bought this printer so I can create attractive fliers to publicize our community services and social events. This week alone, I printed approximately 1500 color copies of a company survey. I took a gamble printing it at my desk to save money,...

Pros: Easy two sided copying, good quality printing Cons: Jams envelopes, hi cost cartridges!
This was purchased for home and business use. Relatively easy to set up, excellent directions on assembly and installation. I love the two sided copying capability, although slow (due to the mandatory drying of the ink to avoid smearing - which is a...
