Pros: Excellent quality, fast performance, full Copy, Scan, Fax and Photo feature set. Network ready.
Cons: Large, loud and lacking a great User Manual. A bit sturdier build, please.
NOTE: The HP L7650 is identical to the HP L7680 except that it ships with a USB cable instead of an ethernet cable. We keep telling ourselves there has to be more to it than that, but we haven't identified any differences yet. It may have ...

Pros: It looks sharp...Black and silver but thats about it. Cons: See above depcription for insight into why this product is a definite no.

very expensive to maintain
by foldedstar ,Jul 09 '08
Pros: This machine is fast and prints last page first unlike our old 7100 Cons: 9 month light use cost was $90 ink plus $130 print heads.
We have had our L7650 for 9 months. Usage is light - family use (not business) with very limited photo printing. no publishing and only the occasional fax. We were pleased initially with the speed of the machine and have had good luck with HP all-in-ones before. The first L7650 that we brought home (cost $340 at Costco) was defective and wouldn't print at all. HP customer help is outsourced to India and live help was NO help. We returned machine to Costco for replacement and that machine worked well for 9 months except that it occasionally gets confused and the only way to reset the machine is to turn it off, then on and give it time to reset. The big negative is the maintenance cost. The print cartridges are small and expensive (but oversize ones can be purchased at even greater expense). Final issue for us was the recent complete failure of both print heads at the same time - $65 EACH to replace. I figure that is $220 in supply expenses for light use over nine months.
