Hotel Helix

Pros: Unique decor, comfortable beds, quiet nights, fun atmosphere, open bar at 5pm
Cons: About a 10 minute walk to the metro

My friend and I stayed during a weekend in February; I had found the hotel online. Our room was on the 10th floor and we heard no noise at all in the hallways during our stay. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the bathroom was large as well. The beds were SO comfortable! The hotel's art deco theme was refreshing and unique. The staff was pleasant and helpful.

Unfortunately we missed the 5-6pm open bar cocktail hour, but we returned to the hotel shortly after, and it was still quite busy and had a fun atmosphere. We both decided that we'd definitely stay here again when we return to DC!
