Pros: Low Price
Good Analog Tuner
Can ship UPS (Faster and Cheaper!) Cons: Mediocre stand
One component input
Manual is minimal
Sales tax on Walmart.com
I wanted a very small 32" LCD, and was having trouble finding anything under about 32 inches wide. Unfortunately for my budget, the first TV I encountered was the Samsung 32" LCD, which is absolutely gorgeous, but costs twice as much as this ILO set. ...
Pros: Good picture and sound Cons: Runs warm, clock gains time
Ilo is a house brand of Wal-Mart and is used for many different models made by many different companies. One must not confuse that there are two TVs with very similar model numbers, the 32HD which is a more current model and the 3200 which is the old ...
Pros: Picture quality, price point, inputs, swivel base, ease of setup Cons: Remote, black levels at their darkest
Excellent picture. Better than at least 80% of the LCD pictures I compared it to. Very bright. Very consistent. The only negative I might note is that the deepest blacks tend to be flat. But I'm ok with that because of the brightness, rich color, and ...
Pros: Cheap and availabe at Wal-Mart, excellent picture. Cons: Could not access monitor configuration/setup after 80 days.
I purchased this unit at Wal-Mart some 80 days ago and it provided an excellent picture and functionality, that is until five days ago. I was going to watch a DVD and tried to access the S-video input and was unable to get to the setup screen with ...
Pros: Clean bright HD picture off air, cable and from PC Cons: Poor sound, flashing digital tuner, need to reset PC to distorted 1024 x 768
I initially quite liked this set apart from the sound quality of the built in speakers. Picture was bright and viewable from a wide angle. The HDTV off air tuner was good and produced a stable picture using a weak signal when my 38" HDTV RCA tube set had ...
Pros: Price Number of AV Jacks Thin Cons: Lack of customer support to deal with TV problems Problems with televisions
DO NOT BUY THIS TV IF YOU CAN FIND IT.....My husband and I bought an Ilo a couple of years back (March 2006). We liked the Ilo for two reasons. First, it has plenty of audio and visual jacks that could hold the gaming and digital systems we ...
Pros: Great picture Good sound Lower price in a LCD TV Cons: Bad tuner lousy customer service
We purchased a ILO 32 in lcd tv on Oct. 8 2006. It had a great picture and good sound for a lower end lcd tv. we purchased the tv at WalMart. Thanks to this web site we found that we were not alone in having trouble with the tuner on this tv. On Jan 6 ...
Pros: Great picture, overall quality, lightweight, wall-mountable, 8ms refresh, etc. Cons: Only one component input, no VGA input, intructions are basic.
My review may not be for everyone, as I bought this mostly for gaming with the Xbox 360. I exchanged my original ILO 2600 for this because I just wanted a bigger screen. (Incidentally, the 26" was just as nice). Great picture; not the sharpest LCD ...
The TV is great! I don't watch a lot of TV but I wanted something to watch movies on. I also needed something under 33" wide because I was putting it into an antique armoire. I shopped around for a while at Best Buy and Brandsmart to compare picture ...
Pros: NONE!!!! Cons: WILL break after 6mo. I guarantee it!
This Ilo-32HD has a design flaw that cuts off the controls... both on the set and the remote. You will only be able to turn the set on and off. This WILL happen to this tv... yet it hasn't been recalled... Look on FixYa.com... there has to be ...
Pros: Easy to set up Cons: QUIT WORKING AFTER 6 MONTHS. NO SUPPORT FROM THE 1-800 SERVICE NUMBER!
I bought an Ilo TV at Wal-Mart on 6-15-6. As noted in another review, the controls stopped working after 6 months, both the remote and the controls on the television. When I called the help desk, I was disconnected each time when I reached either caller number 1 or caller number 3 - I was never able to talk to a person. Although I bought this TV at Wal-Mart, it was not inexpensive. I will never, ever buy another ILO product.
I bought the 32" lcd and it worked great, the picture quality was good but after 6 months it just died as we were watching it. The first person I talked to was real nice but the second person I talked was as rude as they come ( what do you want me to do get in my car and come get it ) yes that really is what he asked me. Do not ever get any product from this company.
Update on this T.V. it took 2 weeks to get the paperwork to mail the tv out but in the companys defense it was during the holidays. I mailed it back the friday after x-mas and to my surprise I recieved a new tv yesterday. I took the tv back to walmart and they exchanged it for a Sanyo 32" lcd. I wiil let you know how that works out. I still think the Ilo tv sucks but the company really surprised me. The phone # that I called to reach the company is 800-216-5156 I hope this number helps someone else out.
Controls stop working after 6 months by tkreviewer ,Apr 11 '07
Pros: It's cheap. Cons: Controls stop working very soon!
We purchased the ILO 26HD TV at Walmart and just like others who have posted here, the controls stopped working after 6 months. The volume control is no longer responsive. The volume cannot be adjusted with the remote, the buttons on the console, or any other remote (like the sattelite receiver remote)
The onscreen display menu is configurable and the source selection can still be adjusted. But no volume.
We have not attempted to contact support yet, but I'll update this review with that information soon. There is no web site support, only a 1-800 number and instructions to call M-F 8AM - 6PM PST.
Great Television at a Great Price by carmech11 ,Sep 13 '06
Pros: Price, Picture, HD Picture (Television and XBox 360) Cons: Lack of features (but at this price who cares), seemingly incompatible with universal remotes
If you're reading this you know what an LCD television is all about so I'll spare the product details and get straight to the point:
I bought this television in December of 2005 and 10 months later I am still extremely happy with this set. Menus are easy to navigate, picture is great (just adjust to your liking), and HD looks about as good as any $2000 or more sets I've seen. Couldn't be happier. The only issue is it is very hard to find a universal remote that works with it. I don't know of any codes that work with ilo, so I take VERY good care of the remote that came with the TV.
Also, as with any television the sound is not adequate so invest in a home theater system or at least some external speakers with a decent receiver.
ILO is the WORST tv I've ever owned by brync36 ,Nov 10 '06
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NONE! Cons: See comments above!
I bought the 32" ILO LCD tv from Walmart on June 3rd..up until a couple of days ago, it worked fine..but then the remote stopped working (except for the power button) AND the buttons ON the tv itself stopped working. Of course, since Walmart doesn't back up anything that it sells, my only option was to contact the manufacturer. What a JOKE...their 800 "customer service" number is nothing but a voice mail, promising to return your call within 48 hours. We'll see if THAT happens. I will NEVER buy another product made by this company and I strongly encourage others NOT to buy anything from this manufacturer.
