Pros: Great Sound, Excellent Warranty Cons: Installation can be tricky
Recently I picked up a set of these speakers and popped them into my '03 Elantra. They sound great. What attracted me to these speakers was their size, price, warranty and of course Infinity's excellent brand reputation.
Pros: Good Clarity, Good Looking Cons: Hardish Install, Could use more bass
As a whole the Infinity Reference will give you great sound. It does lack too much on the low areas but the highs and clarity is excellent. There really isnt too much to say about the system. I had a tough time with the install but only because i was a...
Pros: Clean highs/midrange Cons: Midbass needs work
Infinity has been around for a while and a lot of people have heard of this brand. My friend bought this set because he didn't want to shell out an extra $200 for a set of Diamond Hexs (these were my suggestion).
Pros: Great Sound, Great look, long lasting durability. Cons: Lows aren't that great.
I had these speakers in my old vehicle and like them so much that I got a new pair for my new car. They have really good high and decent mids. Their lows aren't that great, but those frequencies are generally covered by the sub. It really depends on what type of music you like, but for me they worked great. I like a lot of Rock, punk, and acoustic guitar type of music, so I really like to hear the nuances of the highs. I definitely get that with these speakers and exceptional clarity.
I'm really pleased with my Infinity Kappas. I had MB Quart in my old car, and for some songs the bright sounding tweeters really got to me. I dont have that problem with the Infinity Kappas. They're probably not as nice as the MBs, but I can't tell the difference.
The Infinity Kappas looked great coming out of the box. They have a good sized magnet, and the box comes with all the mounting hardware you need. My Kappas are powered by a Kenwood 75x2 amp, and I have a Kenwood H/U. They sound great, I'm more than happy with my purchase. I think they're pretty reasonably priced for what you're getting. I might look at the Infinity Kappa Perfects next time, because they're not too much more.
I'm more than happy with the midbass. I know some people have complained about the midbass, and that it takes some time to break in. I haven't had a problem with it. These sound great, and I can take them up pretty loud before there is some distortion. Not too loud though, but loud enough that I can sit in my car, turn up the sound, and be happy with it.
Pros: Great quality
Excellent sound ( Mid and Highs )
look great Cons: Bass is laking
I really like theses components ive tried alpine polk mtx jbl and bazooka and the infinitys are amazing i tried them with 3 radios and the the high and mids were really amazing but the bass is laking its a good thing i run 4 subs for the bass otherwise id be left with no bass at all.I truly feel like paying a little extra to get the infinity perfect components instead youll really feel the power of infinity.
