This webcam works perfectly smooth with XP, even online the camera is almost like you are watching a tv live. The camera is AWESOME!

Excellent webcam that works well in bright to low light, represents colors accurately, and and has RCA jacks/cables and software that let you import analog video from your VCR or video camera to burn to CD-R or CD-RW. Can also take snapshots for posting to the web, and has software bundle with several excellent programs. This was one of the best, if not THE best webcams available a year or so ago,- but with affordable digital cameras available that function as both a webcam and a mobile camera, there are better buys, unless you can find this clearance priced for under $60 dollars.

Overall a very excellent webcam for the cost. I've used 2 other brands that although they were somewhat cheaper to purchase, they didn't have the quality and reliability that the C430 has. Software support was easy to install and use, and the snapshot and create programs (included with the cam) are also top drawer. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this webcam to anyone interested in a top-quality product.
