Pros: Fun, durable, good exercise. Cons: Possibly the large size.
My son has never really liked what most people consider to be standard little boys toys. Die-cast cars, train sets and action figures never interested him much, and he has always been more attracted to sports and things that keep him active. Almost ...
Pros: An Indoor/Outdoor bouncing toy
Cons: Five chambers to manually pump and pump and pump
Last October a parent on a sensory integration dysfunction list I am on passed along the link to the Intex Jump-O-Lene that she had purchased at Kbtoys.com for her child. During the discussion on the benefits of this product I headed over to the...
Pros: durable, stores easily Cons: takes forever to inflate, side walls develop leaks easily
Buying gifts for my youngest is always difficult, mainly because his older sister and brother seem to own most of the contents of a Toys 'R Us. When it came time for Bug's first birthday, I was searching and searching for something he would enjoy, ...
Pros: good exercise, durable, sturdy construction Cons: really big
Jump-0-Lene keeps kids lean! I purchased my baby a product from Intex (http://www.intexcorp.com/home
.htm)
which was similar to the Jump-o-Lene, but my older kids always wanted to climb inside with her so I got the big one too! Weve had it for a ...
Pros: safety, entertainment, exercise Cons: minor accidents, lack of space
My children have always been begging me to buy them a trampoline, but I was always reluctant because of two main reasons: Safety and Cost. But when I found out about the Jump-O-Lene, my worries were over!
Pros: Sturdy Cons: fills with water, needs pumped up often
While we like this product, I caution you to never mistakenly leave the product outside during a rainstorm. The water fills into the chambers, yet you can not get the water out. The middle chamber then starts expanding until it is as high as the outside wall, leaving it unusable. We had to discard after 5 uses. We spoke to Intex Consumer service, they indicated this was a problem, but there was no immediate cure.
If you plan to use inside, it will be a good buy. If you plan to use outside, don't forget to turn it over or bring it in after every use.
Pros: Great way to burn off toddler energy Cons: Expensive and cannot jump as high as picture depicts
This is a great product if you get it on sale. My two year old son, and his friends seem to be intimidated by the toy. But I will say, It holds up for a long time without having to refill the air as often as other blow up toys.
Pros: Lots of fun Cons: poorly made - low quality materials
My 2 year old loves it.
But, it is continually leaking. We got it Christmas and discovered 2 holes in it right out of the box (Santa was bringing it - what do you do at 1:00am?) We patched it and blew it up. It's been inside the whole time and has developed 6 leaks.
If you don't have a receipt, you have to ship the whole thing back to Intex which will run you the price of a new one. If you have the receipt you have to ship the pieces of material that are affected. If it's more than 90 days - you're out of luck and it's your loss. When I spoke to a manager, she stated that there is absolutely no written warranty so the company is not responsible for any defects.
