Pros: Very comfortable; provides clear and sharp vision; affordable in price. Cons: Not tinted like others are to make them more visible when not in use.
Since about the 4th grade when I was first diagnosed with nearsightedness, my vision has been poor enough to require corrective lenses. I hated wearing glasses and often went without them, even though I couldn’t see the blackboard at school....
Pros: Crystal clear vision, individually sealed containers, J&J quality assurance. Cons: Only good for one to two weeks of moderate use.
When it comes to contact lenses I used to be a real snob and would only wear a specific brand. With so many online sites that deal specifically with contact lenses and selected accessories, youd be crazy to ever purchase them at a retail ...
Pros: Inexpensive, just plain good contacts Cons: Made my eyes sensitive to light
REASONS NOT TO USE CONTACTS: Many doctors highly recommend both disposable and frequent replacement contact lenses. However, there are several reasons not to use contacts. 1.Acute or subacute inflammation or infection of the anterior chamber of the ...
Pros: Good for people with bad eyes or people who drop things a lot Cons: depending on how often you get a new pack, they can be expensive
I have awful eye sight! I have been in glasses since 2nd grade and my eyes have gotten worse since. I was having to get new lenses every year, then every 6 months, then every couple of months. And this was by 6th grade!
Pros: very permeable, last a long time Cons: can be a little dry in the mornings
I've been wearing contacts since I was a freshman in high school; skipped the glasses and went straight for the contacts...and because I was very active in sports, I went with soft rather than hard lenses.
Pros: Decently priced depending on length of wear Cons: dries out quickly, too thin
I have worn contacts for many years now. I was one of those that bought glasses for those days that I just wanted to roll out of bed, but the lenses were my primary use. I have tried many brands of lenses, but these were the worst.
Pros: Durable, accurate, comfortable to wear. Cons: Can tear if you aren't careful.
The Johnson & Johnson SureVue contact lenses are an answer to many contact lenses wearers - a comfortable and accurate lense. These lenses remain very well hydrated, and if they dry a little bit from lack of solution, they rehydrate over night. As I...
Pros: Comfortable, affordable, durable, very easy to keep clean, last for a lot longer than their suppose to Cons: Not a bad thing about 'em!
I got my first pair of glasses in the 6th grade and i HATED them! I never wore them and in turn i could never see. The only solution to my problem would be to get contacts. Unfortunately my family couldn't afford them so I didn't get them until 9th...
Pros: comfort, easy to use, inexpensive Cons: none
I have worn Surevue Lenses for years now....about 9 years actually. Having been a contact lens wearer for about 20 years of my life, I had tried several types before these.
For the last 9 years I have had no problems at all with my lenses. I...
Pros: fresh contacts every two weeks Cons: they are thinner
I have always wanted to wear contacts, but I have really bad allergies and hayfever. Regular contacts never worked for me because small particles of things that I am allergic to would build up on the contacts after a few weeks. It was a waste of money...
Pros: Surevue-Convenience and cleaniness of disposables Cons: Surevues are harder to find than Accuvue
For lack of a more appropriate category, I will have to write my review here. I've had contact lenses for almost ten years now. Until recently, I've purchased them through more conventional routes, ie: thru a HMO or an actual optical shop. Recently, I...
I love these contacts!!!!! I had a problem with the regular soft contacts because I have oily tears and I would get a build up on the lenses after a couple months of wear. No cleaner or enzyme would clean them. I tried Gas Permeable after that - and...
Surevue is now Discontinued by foveator ,Jan 24 '05
Pros: Easy to handle; good optics. Cons: Discontinued. This lens has been removed from the market.
This was a very good, easy to handle contact lens. It was a great beginner lens as it was thicker and more stable than the thinner lenses that superceded it. As of 12/31/2004, it was discontinued by Vistakon, a division of Johnson & Johnson.
Other lenses with similar handling characteristics are the Ciba Focus Weekly and the Biomedics 55 lenses. (I am an eye doctor and use these lenses all the time.)
