This was a very good, easy to handle contact lens. It was a great beginner lens as it was thicker and more stable than the thinner lenses that superceded it. As of 12/31/2004, it was discontinued by Vistakon, a division of Johnson & Johnson.

Other lenses with similar handling characteristics are the Ciba Focus Weekly and the Biomedics 55 lenses. (I am an eye doctor and use these lenses all the time.)
