Pros: Looks great, cool sides, even toasting, wide slots, simple to use Cons: Pricey, longevity, internal component quality
Initially, I was excited to own this toaster (as excited as you can get for a toaster). Yes, it's a little pricey compared to many others but I thought it would last a long time and give me fewer headaches than a cheap ...

VERY happy.

Pros: Toasts bread evenly, but also does a great job on bagels and English muffins. Cons: A little pricey, but not too bad.
Our 27-year-old Kitchen-Aid toaster finally died 2 weeks ago. We decided on the KMTT200 as its replacement because, whereas every toaster makes toast, this one also said it could do bagels and English muffins -- getting them well browned on the cut side but only warm on the un-cut side.
We have tried it many times since getting it and it really does what they claim it can do. Toast is evenly browned. The bagels and English muffins are perfect!
I strongly recommend this toaster!

Kitchenaid 2-slice toaster KMTT200
by deblon ,Oct 14 '09
Pros: does bagels nicely. looks great in the kitchen. Cons: stopped working less than a year old no options for repairing it.
This toaster looks great with black and stainless steel. You would think at a cost from retail of $119.99 before taxes that it would keep working prior to the 1yr warranty expiring, but now the 2 inside elements do not work or go red so yu have to flip the bread around to the outside elements to get even toast. Called Kitchenaid in Canada toll free and all they could do was recommend a small appliance repair centre way out in the west end of Toronto Ontario Canada. not many options for fixing.
