Pros: Horn tweeters, Great full sound, Quality product, Good looks Cons: None that stand out
Klipsch is one of the most well-known names in the speaker business. Klipsch is known for incorporating horn tweeters in their speakers which gives them an excellent high frequency range. Apart from that, their speakers are very high-quality and perform ...

Pros: Solid construction and pinpoint accurate soundfield Cons: Extended high end may be a little too "bright" for some tastes
Many years ago when I first got interested in high fidelity reproduction, the name Klipsch was the Holy Grail of speakers for me. Their flagship was the horn loaded corner placed Klipschorn. I hoped that some day I would have the money and room to...

Pros: High sensitivity = power amplification efficient, clear sound, high quality technology, overall quality Cons: Musical sound is not too impressive, space hungry, heavy
I ended buying these speakers after testing 2 or 3 different brands looking to upgrade my home theater set. Fist I tested a Yamaha all in one 5.1 set that was too weak for my receiver, than tried different Klipsch models and ended trying the RF5's at ...

..they get better
by keefy6 ,Mar 17 '08
Pros: a worthwhile investment, great bass and imaging Cons: none.
I have had my RF5s now for about three years. My previous setup was Wharfdale the 8.3 system I believe. Immediately when they were first hooked up to the Marantz SR8200 they played louder with less effort due to its high sensitivity. Whereas my volume would be -18 with the Wharfdales the volume with the RF5s would be -30 with the same db volume output. They handle with ease alot of power, and in music (paired with the marantz anyway) it sounds wonderful. Very detailed and sound seems to overlap and create an awesome space. Believe it when equipment AND cables make a difference in sound. I just bought a pair of Transparent Audio Cables upgrading from my Better Cables and I never thought that these same CDs actually sound like THAT!
Movies are very dynamic as well and sound great!

Clarity Beyond Your Ears
by jerwoy ,Sep 10 '07
Pros: Superb clarity and defined sound for both music and home theater. Pure ear-joy. Cons: Heavy at 75 lbs if you gotta move them around a lot.
These high performance speakers are solid performers for any audiofile and super for the rest of us. Klipsch built their enduring quality and reputation on their horn design and ultimate clarity it brings to the ears. Paired with a clean high output amp such as Denon, it's pure sound will blow you away. For the headbangers, crank up the volume....the high efficiency of these speakers will keep things sounding clear as a bell. Make no mistake, if you want to truly "hear" your CD for the first time, Klipsch will deliver staggering clarity.
