Kodak EasyShare C315

by caboosey , Jan 03 '08
Pros: Price, Durability, User-friendly, Quality of pictures
Cons: Zoom, No Audio with Video Record Mode, Software
I got this as gift and still use the camera today. The camera is easy to use. It sucks up regular AA and Lithium AA batteries. I use rechargeable AA batteries and it takes many pictures. The software gets in the way for me, so I use a 1GB SD card and use ...

Kodak C315

by alucke , Mar 31 '06
Pros: Cheap, Easy to learn, Good Pictures, Friendly software, Small
Cons: Useless zoom, low battery life, not good for action shots
My wife picked this up as a Christmas present for me. It was a loss leader at one of the stores she shops at. I own a Nikon F3 SLR with several lenses so I'm not going to try to compare it to the pro-grade film camera. She mainly purchased it to ...

Cons: No sound on video;
Fuzzy pictures;
Terrible zoom capabilities;

Before the birth of my second son, I knew I needed to purchase a digital camera. I had used a Nikon for work purposes and needed my own digital camera at home. Fortunately, a friend of mine would loan me hers until I was able to gather enough ...

Good utility camera

by misterhigley , Dec 28 '07
Pros: Good value, nice pictures.
Cons: Some words by buttons rubbed off making less-used buttons troublesome.
This camera was aggressively priced so I didn't expect much. My wife got it as an inexpensive replacement to the Sony that stayed with my previous employer. This one has much better shutter speed than the Sony I used. I was also pleasantly surprised ...

Kodak EasyShare C315

by austsmom , Feb 23 '06
Pros: It's small, lightweight, easy to use, and good for taking basic photos.
Cons: Very bright flash, digital zoom compromises picture quality, occasional white spots in photos.
I purchased this camera at Target's After Thanksgiving special for $89. Everyone I knew that owned a Kodak EasyShare sang praises about them, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with a deal like this one. I tried finding reviews online before opening the ...

Not Bad For A Cheap Camera

by tdanza , Jan 16 '07
Pros: Price, Size, User-friendly, Quality of pictures.
Cons: Quality of pictures, Zoom feature, Some aspects of the video clip feature.
I work in a photography lab at a drugstore and spotted that we sold the Kodak EasyShare C530. I examined the box and saw that it was $100. The 5.0 megapixel (megapixel = a unit of measurement in the quality of digital pictures) camera seemed to be a ...

An OK Camera

by pserae , Mar 07 '07
Pros: Small, light weight, cheap, very easy to use, picture quality, short video
Cons: bad zoom,no sound on video, quality of action shots, small lcd screen
This was the first digital camera I purchased because it was a good price at 5 mega pixels. This camera is very light weight, and very easy to use, I didn't even read the manual. The internal memory only holds 12 pictures. It has low battery life so I ...

Not Impressed with the Easy Share camera line.

by julz49221 , Dec 02 '07
Pros: This camera takes awesome pictures when it works.
Cons: The screen and lens tend to malfunction and go out rather quickly.
I have gone through two Kodak Easy Share Cameras. The Kodak Easy Share C330's to be exact. Both Camera's were 5.0 mega pixels. On both cameras, the screen display now does not work. The first one started off with a line going through the entire viewing ...

Great camera, great service
by kobryant816 ,Jun 04 '08
Pros: easy to use... point and click, literally.
Cons: Sorry, can't think of any and I've had this camera for several years now.
I love my camera, which I have had for several years. I upload my pictures into the Kodak Gallery and then order prints. For the first time in a number of years, I had a problem with an order that I didn't discover for two months. It didn't matter. Kodak resolved the issue in my favor, to my satisfaction and were polite, courteous and quick in their responses. I love the camera, I love Kodak!

my dads first digital-so easy to use
by mrbeachy ,Jun 08 '07
Pros: easy to use;good picture quality;accepts a 1 GB SD card.
Cons: zoom doesn't have much range;flash can be too bright; really a beginners camera.
I wanted a very easy to use digital camera for a beginner. i found this at target the day after thanksgiving 2005 for $89. It is simple, straightforward and comes with clear and concise directions. With a PNY 1 GB SD card, this camera's capacity is 1022 pictures-more than an ample amount.

I also recommend using lithium batteries. Though their initial cost is higher, their recycle time between shots is much faster and they provide more pictures than using regular alkaline batteries which Kodak does not recommend. While I know its a battery-conserving feature,I dislike the auto shut-down after 2 or 3 minutes of non-use.

They also recommend that only their SD cards be used but I am using a PNY 1 GB card with no problems.

worth the money
by fy128re ,Dec 09 '06
Pros: cheap, light weight, user friendly, great quality pictures
Cons: poor quality action pictures. bright flash, low battery life
bought this camera last thanksgiving and use it on a daily basis. very dependable camera with simple, easy to use features. not real good with action shots due to blurry pictures. also flash is way to bright for camera, usually have to darken picture to even out light. very durable, dropped mine a few times with no problems. good for people who are on the go looking for leisure photography.

Nice Camera
by reviewer08New Member ,Oct 31 '09
Pros: Small, light-weight and you can share photos.
Cons: Need really good lighting for best quality pics.
I got this camera as a Christmas present a few years ago. It has only 5 mega pixels but still takes pretty good photos. I even dropped it a few times and it still works like new. Its really easy to carry around because its so small. All in all its a pretty nice camera.

I expected better
by toutomoutochan ,Dec 28 '07
Pros: Easy to upload pictures (even w/out the software), cheap price
Cons: Poor image quality, tiny internal memory
When my boss came into the office with a 5 megapixel digital camera for taking product pictures, I thought it was going to be a lot better than our old one. Unfortunately, it seems that it's worse. Pictures always come out with a lot of pixelated noise. It hardly seems better than the digital camera I got years ago as a free gift. With a lot of finagling (and a good tripod), pictures can be made to look okay, but I expected a lot more.

Digital Disposable
by bendramz ,Dec 26 '06
Pros: Low Price.
Cons: Low quality lens, bad in low light, no optical zoom, grainy at 100%
I got this camera day after Thanksgiving 2005 at Target for 89.95 and it is worth about that much. After a year I am going to upgrade. I refer to this camera as my digital disposable camera. It has all of the features of a $10 dollar disposable 35 mm. It shines at the arms-length self-self portrait and starts failing if asked to do anything more complicated than that. No indoor shots without the flash, no motion, no sports. But at 89.95 it is hard to go wrong. Consider yourself warned.
