Pros: sound, value, bass response, eliminates surrounding noises Cons: maybe too big for some people
Koss is probably one of the best manufacturers for headphones. The general trend is the bigger the better, pretty much... and these are pretty big. I can't recommend anything smaller than these because of the fantastic sound quality and price of these...
Pros: High quality, low price, comfortable Cons: Size adjustment tabs are fairly loose and cheaply made; In-cord volume would have been nice
When a professional A/V technician bought a co-worker of mine some Koss R 80 headphones, I took that as a pretty strong endorsement. For about $30, these headphones have more than enough sound for the casual audiophile.
I'd been looking for a decent set of headphones ever since my old ones started deteriorating and leaving black dust on my ears. Then there was a half price sale at Radioshack and my friend Steve got the last pair. I believe those were $100.00 (CDN)...
Pros: Great Sound and Very Comfortable! Cons: None
I live in a small house, and there is not alot of room for speakers. The only solution for me was to get headphones. I have tried several lower end sony pairs as well as some from cheap :) Senheiser headphones, but when I first put on the Koss R/80s I...
Pros: Coiled, 3-D DSP, comfortable Cons: Cant wear for long periods of time
I got the R-100 and at first glance were blown away. The packaging seemed professional and the cans were very appealing. The model I received had two cords, both with coiled wiring. One coiled wire had a 3-d DSP on it that was very neat to play with....
Pros: Excellent sound, bass, and comfort!!! Cons: No on-cable volume control
I was searching for the perfect set of headphones. The only problem, I was a little strapped for cash. I actually came across this little gem on eBay. The price was right, but knew it was a gamble because I wasn't able to hear them or try them on...
Pros: Comfortable all day. Good fidelity. Strong bass. Cons: I hoped for even better isolation.
These headphones are comfortable to wear all day. I'm no audiophile, just an amateur musician who expects fidelity. To my ear the sound is outstanding. I listen to jazz, classical, and vocals. I like the deep bass that comes through.
I bought these headphones a year ago and I am very disappointed. On a low volume they sound great. The music is very clear and pleasant sounding. If I turn them up loud they lose their quality. The reason they lose their quality is because the bass does...
Pros: THE SOUND!! better than others costing 3-4 times More.
Cons: None so far, but I have not had these long..
The sound is REALLY good, as good as phones in the 200 dollar range, in my opinion. The bass is deep, and tight, with presence. And the highs are really clear with no tinny sound. Everyone that hears them comments on how clear they sound. They go plenty...
I own a pair of these koss headphones and im not complaining about the quality of the sound but the they just break. One day i brought my headphones to the club and put them in my gym bag. Like most people you have the little tiny headphones that dont...

Pros: Sound is good when working proper. Cons: There should be better quality control.
The conection cord was not tight at the head set.
Keeps falling out and there is no stereo sound because of the bad conection. Would not recommend.

I bought these online, and tried them as a result of opinions on epinions.com. At first the headphones were uncomfortable, but started to fit right after a few hours. The construction on these headphones seem good, but the coiled cord is a bit annoying and in the way especially for shorter distances. Now the most important factor: the sound. They are nice and loud, so there is no problem with volume, and I could hear elements in the music I've never heard especially high pitched ones, BUT the side attached to the cord seemed louder than the other side. It also seemed that the Right (corded) side had all the bass and the other side had none. This became quite annoying listening to music. I tried these headphones with music on my computer, a portable CD player and a Sony shelf system, and the headphones showed the same behavior. I even rotated the phones to switch ears, and the "loud" side went from one ear to the other. This is very disappointing considering the good reviews.
