LG LDS4821ST Stainless Steel 24 in. Built-in Dishwasher

Pros: It fits in the opening for which it's intended.
Cons: I can't get it out of the opening for which it's intended fast enough.

Sorry...bought an LG TV and was so happy with it, thought I'd buy an LG dishwasher. This thing is the biggest piece of crap I've ever owned. If I could only get my old dishwasher back from the scrap yard...it worked twice as well as this thing ever ...

Pros: VERY quiet, stainless steel tub, cleans dishes well

I have owned the LG LDS4821ST dishwasher for a little over four months and so far it has performed very well. I wanted something quieter than the piece of junk Maytag that this washer replaced and was considering a Bosch until the saleperson at Best Buy ...

Pros: Quiet operation.
Spotless glasses.
Beautiful design.
Cons: None that I can see.

I am surprised to see any negative comments about this great dishwasher.  Having had Kitchenaid and Kenmore models in the past, I can say that this LG outshines them all.
With a 52 db noise rating, it is virtually silent.  Glasses come out spotless, and it has a beautiful design.
It also comes with an adjustable top rack with tines to hold your stemware in place.
I would recommend this dishwasher wholeheartedly.

Pros: Overall appearance, Quietness
Cons: Bottom rack prongs are a little close together, but really no big deal.

We just purchased this dishwasher from Best Buy. We bought the floor model and received 20% off so we couldnt pass it up. My husband installed it (took him about 2 hours)  We turned it on, it was soooo quiet!!!!!! This dishwasher replaced a Kenmore Elite that came with the house. That dishwasher was ready to blow as well as it sounded like  a tractor. I estimate it was about 10 years old, it was used to its fullest. We got the stainless model and it looks very nice, clean and modern. Nice chime when cycle ends, way bigger inside then our Kenmore. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. We also purchased a LG fridge. It won't be here for another 2 weeks. My expectations of the fridge are pretty high based on the dishwasher.

Pros: good design and quiet. gets dishes very clean
Cons: bottom basket difficult to get back on track if wheels are off-track. 

We are generally satisfied with this dishwasher but wish the bottom rack would slide in more smoothly.  The track wheels glide along the door track but often get mis-aligned and makes it difficult to slide back  in.  Especially when there are heavy dishes, the wheels get off track.  Easy to use digital dials but wish there was a delay start function.
