Pros: solidly built; excellent warranty; good value; stable base; fairly quiet motor; large feed chute Cons: none
I enjoy fresh juice (fruits and vegetables) and used a ~$30 Hamilton Beach juicer successfully for many years. With these cheaper models, one needs to chop the produce into smaller pieces. Also, to avoid damaging the motor, I would strongly recommend not...
Pros: Very smooth running and produces high quality, pulp free, foam free, juice. Cons: Cleaning is a little time consuming but no more than other juicers I would suppose.
I recently became interested in the benefits of juicing for a healthy lifestyle and decided to purchase a juicer. After lots of researching and reading I narrowed it down to three. The Omega 1000, the Acme 6001 and LeQuip 221. The Omega and the Acme are ...
Pros: It makes great juice Cons: The company has no regard for customer satisfaction
I don't know about you, but if I buy something and there's a problem, I want to know that the company provides quality customer service. The juicer is fine as long as you don't have to deal with L'equip's customer service. What follows is my experience...
Pros: Powerful, easy to clean, small foot print Cons: None
I am very happy with this juicer.I have had 5 juicers over the years ranging in price from $80.00 to $450.00.After my last one broke I bought this mostly because of the price. Its Quiet, smooth and just as efficient as any I have owned and better than some.I have used this one for over a year and have had no problems.I work it hard,it gets used every day.I would buy it again. That says it all.
Pros: The biggest pro has to be the ease of cleaning, followed by ease of use. Cons: None that I can find.
I've never used a juicer before, but this Mini Pulp Juicer from L'Equip is easy to use, quick to clean, and fun! The first night I had it, I made lemonade, orange juice, and carrot juice, all in under an hour and had it cleaned up in no time. I used a plastic shopping bag in the disposal bin and just tossed the dry pulp in my compost heap. The parts of the juicer came apart easily and they cleaned quickly under the tap, even the carrot juice. I highly recommend this juicer for one or two people. It takes up relatively little counter space and is easy to store.
The joys of juicing with the LEquip 110.5 by yes123 ,Jan 26 '06
Pros: It's helped me drop the pounds/stones and improve my health. Cons: I have to go to market twice a week
I love this juicer. Researched it on the net before buying and it has lived up to all of its praises.
I actually enjoy cleaning it as if feels like I'm rewarding it for its excellent service.Cleaning only takes 5 minutes and it's ready for more juicing. I now juice twice a day and eat a main meal at night and the weights dropping off.
Pros: Well-made, well-powered, well-priced. Quiet, and easy to clean. Cons: Footprint slightly larger than a blender, a little big to leave out on smaller countertops.
I'm brand-spanking-new to the world of juicing, which dictated two specifics in my choice of juicers: 1. It had to be inexpensive enough that I wouldn't regret spending the money if I didn't carry on with juicing, and 2. It had to be high enough quality that I wouldn't get discouraged and quit using it. After much research, I decided to go with the L'Equip Mini, and I couldn't be happier. It's well powered for the price, and well made.
So far I've only juiced oranges, lemons, apples, and carrots; all have juiced thoroughly and easily, and left behind fairly dry pulp.
Clean-up is no more difficult than my blender, and easier than my food processor. I've taken another reviewer's advice and line the pulp bin with a bag for easy removal. The toothed basket cleans easily with a dish brush; the remaining parts rinse clean in water. Just in case, everything except the motorized base is top-rack dishwasher safe.
Pros: cost, clean-up, speed of juicing, amount of juice, stainless steel components Cons: you cannot force-feed this juicer and expect it to operate with efficiency
I have now owned several juicers and this one has my 2 thumbs up. I have owned two cheapy centrifugal juicers (burned out motor on one/gave other away). My next juicer was a single auger juicer. Though the motor is a real powerhouse, its capacity to juice is not good at all. Also, the veggies tended to get trapped in the mechanism and spin...never making it out the pulp ejector end. This was real frustrating. Sooooo, I went back to the centrifugal juicer. The basis for this choice was mostly others opinions, the total stainless basket & container, ease of use and clean-up and cost.
Pros: Good looks. Compact. Well built. Cons: Not enough power for my likes.
I found this unit to be too low in power, about equal to a Juiceman Junior. It doesn't act like it has a 1/2 HP motor. When I tried to juice peeled citrus with it, it bogged down terribly. It will juice carrots and apples OK but you cannot push them in too fast or the motor will bog down.
It's built very well and looks nice. The juice yield with it is good but I wouldn't say great.
Better than others its size by metrocane ,Jan 04 '05
Pros: Plenty of power, takes up little room, durable Cons: Juice spout is small and a little hard to clean.
I bought the L'Equip 110.5 to use while my Omega was being repaired. It is a good machine. Its as efficient and powerful as any juicer costing 2 or 3 times as much.It has produced 32 oz. of juice every day for the last 8 months. It as easy to clean as any and more durable than most.It hits a price point in the middle of a cheap machine and an expensive one.If you are looking for a compact juicer I recommend this over the juice man jr.The juice man jr.has one major design flaw that renders it useless in a short amount of time under daily use.L'Equip calls this a compact juicer but it will go head to head against my $250 Omega juicer.I have used a lot of juicers and I see no reason to pay more for a larger or better known brand.
Pros: Quick and easy clean up, and powerful motor. Cons: Taking the juice tray with blade off to clean is not so easy.
After doing some research I decided on the L'equip mini. I'm very happy with it. I've used a Champion before and was happy with that, except that the Champion is too complicated to clean up and it's huge. The L'equip is quick and easy to clean up. I just rinse everything out in water just after juicing and I'm done. The only thing that I didn't expect from all of the reviews is that the pulp would be so wet. It's a bit of a pain, but I run the pulp through 2x more and I get more juice. By doing that the pulp gets a lot dryer and smaller, and I sprinkle a hand full of pulp into the juice for that added fiber. It's so small at that point that it doesn't add too much grainyness to the juice and I utilize the nutritious pulp that would be wasted!
This was my first juicer and I went with the opinions of the other reviewers. I have not regretted it. This juicers does a great job. Smooth and powerful with relatively easy clean up. You can rinse the pulp off easily with a hot water spray. The price is good and the quality is too! The only thing is that when the juice drips out, it splashes a little. So watch out when you're doing beets. That stuff is RED!
I had a Juiceman, which I was not to happy with, but compare to L’equip 110.5 it was pretty good.
The motor is so weak that slows down even with a piece of carrot aprox. 2"x.5", and it takes forever to restore rpm if any... Pulp jams between bowl and basket and slows down the motor after the first squish, so 10,000 rpm exist only before you start making juice. Check the return policy before you buy it.
