Pros: Outstanding contrast from wide open, thrilling results from f/4 onwards. Pleasant bokeh. Exceptional build quality.
Cons: Price (especially when buying new).

An outstanding lens - but expensive!

Pros: Excellent sharpness and contrast, even wide open and at close range. Built-in retractable shade.
Cons: Cost.
The Leica 35mm f/2 Summicron-R lens is ideal for low light photography. This lens is very well corrected with excellent resolution, color rendition and contrast. Colors are neutral, as is generally the case with Leica lenses. Fine details are rendered...
