Pros: Location. Times Square at your doorstep! Cons: Poor phones. Tricky advertising for services. Some service persons not helpful.
Should I blame it on priceline.com? No. The price was right-- I mean it was half of what the website for the hotel room advertises (rooms start at around $240/night). Should I blame the location-- smack in the middle of bustling Times Square-- ...

We stayed at this hotel recently, and had a terrific experience.
The rooms are nice (although a tiny bit plain) but perfectly functional.

Pros: location Cons: poor customer service, old and smelly room. and that inefficient elevator!
what a disappointing stay.
the hotel was old, very busy and the elevators just couldn't cope with the thousands of people who go in and out of the hotel at a given time due to the conventions and a Broadway theater in it.
the room was quite large, the location is on Times Square, but these were the only attributes. the staff was rude and they didn't want to help much with directions. bellmen only wanted tip and had no desires to help with anything else. wouldn't stay here again.
