I stayed at the hotel for its location. It is on the river walk, connected to the mall and with in walking distance to the Alamo.

They have a Swimming pool that is half inside and half outside on one of the roofs. The kids loved that. The staff is extremely courteous. The rooms are reasonably priced. They actually have a free laundry room. They have a nice work out room and parking in an underground ramp for free or you can pay to valet.

I had nothing about the hotel I did not like I stayed there in the summer of 2003 and also in 2001.

If you do want a river view be sure to specify that. River views do cost a little more.

I did like this location and the staff was great, however due to the excessive noise I would not stay here again. I stayed here in September 04'and it was an excellent value. I booked on line via a link on the hotel's home page. I rooms were nice and very clean. The noise was extreme at night you could hear the street below until about 2 a.m. you will hear a steady stream of sirens and people screaming along the river walk. People obviously like to go there to party. I felt like I was on Bourbon Street during Mardi Gras. I tell you it was bad. I was on the 15th floor with a river view.
