I have used every acne product there is..and I'm only exaggerating a tiny bit. I have used Clearasil and clean and clear spot treatments the most, and both ended up drying my skin out if i used it every day. That is definatly not the case with Mary Kay...

I purchased this product-ACNE TREATMENT GEL, because I have occasional breakouts and wanted something on hand for the breakouts.

Expectations</p>

When deciding to purchase this item, I wanted it because I do have breakouts and I wanted something that would help control and prevent acne.

I expected it to clear up my skin and to PREVENT future breakouts.

This product dried out my skin. It made my skin burn and really feel tight.

I do have sensitive skin, but I do have acne, so I thought it would be gentle on my skin. But I was wrong.

Would I recommend This Product?</p>

I wouldn't recommend it, per se. But I would tell people my experience if they asked. I think it does do well with some skin types. I have heard from other users and it has worked wonders. It just didn't fair well with my skin type.

My husband and I both will get the occasional zit that just pops up unexpectedly! This gel works wonders! Even my husband swears by it. The second we start to feel a zit coming we start using this (and I use it nightly on my nose which always gets lots of blackheads too), and it just dries it up within a day. Put this on before you start messing with the zit too. And only put it on the areas that need it, otherwise, it might dry it out.
