Pros: Powder finish; coverage; easy to apply and blend Cons: none
Evident by past reviews, Mary Kay is by far my favorite skin care and makeup brand. They are a very reputable company, and their products meet their claims. I don’t think there is a Mary Kay product I have ever been dissatisfied with in 10 years. Just...
Pros: Very easy application. Stays on. Conceals all evils. Cons: pricey
You won't need to powder your nose (again) with Mary Kay Creme to Powder Foundation. Everyone has their own story to tell about their first meeting with a Mary Kay consultant. Oddly, the closest Ive come to a Mary Kay consultant is the ...
Pros: Foundation and powder in one saves money and time and LOOKS GREAT Cons: No compact or sponges to accommodate without purchasing separate.
Why I first bought this product: We have all been to them. The Mary Kay party that our best friend is having for someone else. We not only feel obligated to go, but of course we have to save up our money to make a purchase or it almost defeats the ...
This makeup gave me good coverage but it needed frequent touch ups and was very greasy and oily on my face. Even using the MK brand of powder did not relieve the oiliness on my skin. My skin is combination but this would make my face very oily all over...
Pros: Quick, easy, pretty finish, good coverage Cons: Needs frequent touch-ups, not long lasting at all
I like simplicity in my life. Hair that I can wash, dry and go. A job that allows me to throw on jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers and go. Makeup I can slap on and go. So when I came across the Mary Kay Creme to Powder foundation, I was pumped. I had tried ...
Well, I am one of those people that needs more than just the "sheer" makeups that are so popular these days. I have sensitive, problem skin, that has excema, my skin is also combination. Needless to say, I have real problems finding the "right"...
Pros: Can easily blend in everywhere, left a nice finished look and not too made up Cons: I felt it didn't do particularly well in humid or hot weather
I'm very hesitant about trying new foundations, but I have to say I was most pleased with this one. I've tried some of the other foundations that Mary Kay offers, and none compared to the coverage it provided. I found that after easily applying it with...
Pros: Extremely natural, excellent coverage. Doesn't "settle" or slide. Cons: Does the phrase "in-home demonstration" make you cringe?
I don't even look like I'm wearing make-up with this on! I'm ruddy and have T-zone oiliness PLUS the lines most 40 year olds have. I'm extremely impressed with the product (use the mattifier underneath it if you're oily - unbelievable stuff!). You can...
If You Like Heavy Makeup...This is for You by bj0rk ,Jan 07 '06
Pros: Good coverage Cons: Expensive, thick & heavy, crumbles off your face.
I have a friend who is a Mary Kay consultant. She came over to my house one day to show me the Creme to Powder Foundation.
I have been using Almay liquid foundation which wasn't providing me the coverage I wanted.
I tried the sample for a day and I loved it. It provided medium coverage and it wasn't too heavy.
When I received the full version, I was extremely disappointed. I went to Las Vegas a few days after, and possibly because of the dryness there the makeup peeled off my face in little crumbles. The makeup was extremely heavy and I felt akin to a clown when I had it on my face.
If I ever got wet, the makeup would streak.
The color didn't blend well.
I DID use moisturizer before applying the foundation, as my Mary Kay Rep told me.
I ended up returning the makeup after three weeks of use.
Bottom Line, if you are used to heavy stage-esque foundation, try out this one.
If you want a lighter, more natural look... keep looking.
