Alkaline batteries last 3.5 - 4.5 weeks. Intellipoint 5.0 is terrible: use 4.1 instead

by boson , Sep 01 '03
Pros: Extremely comfortable, lightweight, great button placement.
Cons: Batteries last 2 - 5 weeks. Intellipoint 5.0 software doesn't allow flexible button mapping.
Superb Ergonomics This MS Wireless Mouse is a perfect fit for my adult male hand size. It is also an excellent fit for my wife's smaller hand so Microsoft appears to have designed a product that is appropriate for a wide audience. I can't say ...

OK I've been using this mouse for over a year now and I can honestly say I'm fed up. Don't get me wrong, this mouse is extremely comfortable and easy to use BUT it has some major issues. First, you'll notice (if you buy it) that the right mouse button ...
