Pros: Great feel, good distance control Cons: expensive
Not all pros play the Mizuno T-Zoid, but there are more tour pros who play Mizuno irons than any other iron. The Mizuno T-Zoid's are one of the best crafted clubs ever made. They have the feel of a blade, but are also forgiving.
Pros: excellent feedback, works the ball well, very accurate Cons: Not very forgiving. requires good ballstriking to be effective
We golfers are a funny breed of competitors. Every year we set out towards the course with visions of grandeur looking to get to the next level with our game. The 12 handicapper is looking to get to single digits; the next step is less than a 5hcp and on...
Pros: Excellent design, forgiving club for a forged iron Cons: Slight penalty for mishits
For anyone who is a better than average golfer (handicap of at least 14), these clubs are a great choice if you are looking for a little more feel. While these clubs are forged, they have the "power bar" which adds a little more...
Pros: Great look and feel Cons: Not as forgiving as cavity backs
These clubs are ideal for players with a handicap of 12 or less. I have a 4 handicap, but wanted to move away from blades to clubs that were a little more forgiving. The T-Zoids are a great solution - they look like blades yet have the additional...
Pros: much feel Cons: high handicappers who want "game improvement" clubs would do better elsewhere
Very much the same type of club as the Titleist DCI 962.....classic design, thin top line, nice feel. This club is for the better player (10 handicap or better) but it is certainly one of the better ones on the market for that "demographic"....
I played Lynx for about 2 years...sliced throughout the 2 years. Just switched to Mizuno Comp-EZ last summer. Very good. Turn the slice into a draw...although i would like to play a fade.
When hit solidly...about 80% of the time...I get almost...
Pros: Great feel, looks good at address, nice ball trajectory, slightly longer than my former clubs Cons: Soft heads need care if cosmetic appearance is important
After playing with Mizuno Grad MP's for the past 5 years, I decided to get a new set of clubs. After testing several clubs including Callaways, Taylor Made, and Titleist, I decided to stay with Mizuno and purchase the T-Zoid Pro Forged Irons. I love the ...
Pros: Best club for the money. Tour prefered design. Cons: Initial cost.
I have played these irons for the last 7 years (same set). I am a PGA tour contender this year and could use any set I would like. I would never change for any amount of money which, little to the general public's knowledge Tiger did as well. In order for Tiger to use Nike forged Irons, Nike purchased the design rights from Mizuno but threw on a Nike logo. These clubs cannot and will not be available to the general public according to Nike. These clubs are the best money can buy and forgiving for the amateur golfer. A couple tips if you buy these clubs. One, is that get them properly fitted for lie. These clubs will change there lie after repetative use, so make sure you know the original specs and have them re-lied to your specs every now and them. Usually free from where you purchased them. Second, DONT HIT OFF ANY ROCKS OR SMALL PEBBLES. you will be sorry.
Mizuno T-Zoid Comp EZ regular steel by tejastorch ,Nov 03 '07
Pros: The feel of a forged blade striking the sweet spot, is a beautiful thing. Cons: No
I have played perimeter weighted clubs since I started playing golf at age 50. I will be 67 next month.( handicap 14) Hit driver 220 - 230 . Hit 5 iron 150.
I purchased a set of Mizuno t-zoid comp ez w/reg. steel shafts. I was afraid I would not be able to hit them well.
I have played about 15 rounds with them and I have developed the feel for these clubs and am hitting them "well struck" per my playing partners. I had my C Club pro check the lie and it was good all the rest was standard ( nothing has been changed )lucky on a set of used clubs.
