Pros: It's convenient to all of the Moody Gardens activities. They do have shuttles running. Cons: It's expensive and it's a little bit out of the main stream of things.
It stands out like a sore thumb in Galveston, Texas. But it is in reality an oasis. We were lucky enough to receive tickets from a relative and took full advantage of spending the day in Galveston. Although I am not too crazy about the murky waters of...

Great Weekend Get- Away

Pros: Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Fairly priced. Cons: None come to mind.
Although I am not a fan of Galveston waters, the hotel and attractions allow a great get away secluded from the actual shores of the murky Gulf. We had a relaxing get away with many things to do right there on the grounds. The pool and water activities included in the hotel price were our favorite part of the stay. We will return again.
